Thinking about how conflicted Spike was when Dru killed his dinner for him. How he hesitated. And, how down the road, he'd try to psych himself up to kill when he thought the chip had stopped working. How hesitation or pep talks shouldn't be needed with a soulless creature.

so i just finished Future imperfect by cousinjean and i can understand why the story has received awards....it made me cry, it was so awesome and touching....i really recommend it

For the first time in our 17-year history, Elysian Fields has its own logo (and, incidentally, new pfp)! Many thanks to the multi-talented bewildered for designing this (and its beautiful variations) for us.

now that i’ve reread some old fanfictions of Buffy, it made me remember the love/hate i have for the show. it’s so full of angst and most of the characters don’t get the happiness they deserve (and the viewers their closure). is it done on purpose to make us addicted? maybe. cause it fucking works. 😆😒😣😩
