What if You Could Choose Anyone in Yan-Sim?
In this blog, I will be proposing the idea of: What if you could choose any male character in Yandere Simulator? Now, Senpai himself would be completely eliminated as a character in this suggestion as he is mostly a place-holder for Yan-Chan’s goal. In this blog, we will be discussing all possible outcomes for if the player was allowed to choose any male in the game to be her Senpai.
Now, there is a wide variety of personalities for each and every male character in the school which would lead to very different, yet also similar outcomes for the player. First: We will be discussing the characters that would have the normal Senpai reaction: The fragile, social-butterfly, coward, teacher’s-pet, phone-addict and loner personas would all have the same reaction as Senpai to any of the player’s motives. These characters would all consist of: Gema, Ryuto, Hayato, Riku, Chojo, Sota, Sora, Daku, Shin, Juku, Ryusei and Geiju.
A good ending with any of these characters would result in a typical, romantic kiss while a bad ending would result in a fearful rejection of Yan-Chan. In order to win these characters’ hearts, Yandere-Chan would have to completely sabotage their relationships from the shadows and would not be allowed to interact with any of them until the very end of the game.
Next: Let’s talk about Senpai possibilities that could result in Yan-Chan being harmed. Those personas would be the: Violent, Spiteful and Dangerous personas. Haruto, The Yakuza, Kocho, Kaga and any of the Delinquents can result in Yan-Chan being harmed but also open doors for various, interesting outcomes that currently aren’t possible in the official game. Now, before you come down on me for listing the adult, male characters as options, keep in mind that two of the game’s main rivals are: An Adult Teacher and an adult nurse so it’s perfectly fine for Yandere-Chan to have adult Senpai's
For example: Yandere-Chan could win Haruto’s heart by finding a way to secretly lower his reputation to the point where he is bullied. Yandere-Chan could then kill his bullies in front of him to win his affection.
To win Kaga’s heart, she could join the Science-Club and assist him with his inventions for World-domination while eliminating all of his rivals behind his back.
To win The Yakuza Leader’s heart, Yan-Chan would need to preform the favor of reforming The Leader’s little brother in order to join The Yakuza then provide The Leader with a certain number of snuff-films and bodies. This would be the only Senpai you could openly kill in front of without getting a game-over.
For any of The Delinquents, Yan-Chan would need to lower her reputation (which would put her at risk for being expelled) and beat each and every one of the delinquents in order to join their group. Once in the group, it will be easier for Yan-Chan to court the Senpai of her choice however, these choice Senpais would also make Osoro and Migami extra-hard to defeat as rivals.
Kocho is a bit of a wildcard and may be the hardest of all the Sempai’s to court but you would most-likely need to join the student council, have a high reputation and eliminate all rivals in ways that won’t harm them in order to prove to Kocho that Yan-Chan isn’t anything like the her mother, the person he is most afraid of.
A good ending with any of these characters would always result in a passionate, make-out session but could also result in four, different scenarios: Joining the Yakuza, new head of The Student Council, new leader of The Delinquents or World-domination with your new Senpai.
A bad ending with these character would result in Yan-Chan being brutally murdered. It would probably be for the best not to let the Delinquents find out you killed Osoro, let Kaga find out you killed all of his Science-Club members, including Robot-Chan, let Haruto know that you were the one that ruined his reputation, kill any of Kocho’s rivals or kill The Yakuza’s little brother. If you are not stealthy enough with Haruto, The Delinquents and Kaga, they will find out about what you’ve done and you will not get a good ending.
With that being said, their is a potential, love-triangle ending where if you say: use the Delinquents, The Yakuza or The Science club as assets to court one of your other Senpais, the leader will express signs of having a secret crush on Yan-Chan. If Yan-Chan was not careful enough and was to get a bad ending, then one of the leaders would come to Yan-Chan’s rescue just as she is about to be murdered by her original choice of Senpai. Once rescued, Yan-Chan would immediately develop feelings for her savior and would end up sharing the passionate, make-out session with them instead of her initial choice.
The final choice of Senpais would be the ones that could result in Yan-Chan being apprehended. Those Sempais would be the: Heroic and sleuth personas. Budo, Sho, Fureddo, Sukubi and Rojasu can all apprehend Yandere-Chan and have her arrested.
While it is possible, for Yan-Chan to fight off a Heroic or Sleuth persona by increasing her Physical-Status, she would not want to kill her own Senpai of choice and would be unable to fight back if tackled by him.
A good ending with any of these boys would result in Yan-Chan receiving a passionate kiss while a bad-ending would result in a hate-filled rejection that would crush Yan-Chan’s spirit and cause her to go into Snap-Mode. Perhaps this could be the only way to enter snap mode.
With this being said, it may slow the game’s development if Yandere-Dev reprogramed every male student to be a potential Senpai but what if you could choose Sempai’s persona like you could choose his looks?
