I just finished reading the most recent chapter of child of lightning and might I ask if you could give Sun and Sky's loftwings names?? :3 also wild purring is just so cute he is a cutie pie that has stolen my heart

Okey, so, when I was writing I actually got stuck on the name for Zelda’s loftwing. Nothing good came out, so I just didn’t mention it at all in the chapter. BUT! Now, I’ve got an idea, and because you asked, I’ve also got the motivation to draw the babies:

Crimson and Beam!!!

I’m already pretty used to the fandom’s name for Sky’s bird, so I just left it as it is. For Sun’s loftwing, on the other hand…? Idk, it just fits ig) Beam does sound nice

Also, it can be a funny story that when Zelda first told Link the name she chose for her loftwing, he misheard it! And for a long time, he thought that his friend/girlfriend just called her loftwing Bean…. lol

Imagine the scene where something happened and they cannot find Beam, and Link has this meme in his head on repeat: Me and the bois at 2am looking for BEAN!!! 🫘

When Zelda found out about the mistake, she almost peed herself laughing. She teases Link about this to. this. day!!!

Ps. Wild purring and nuzzling into the hand were the best parts to write) love my traumatised boi ヾ(＾-＾)ノ

For the six fanart thing, what about a loftwing? If you don’t want to draw a bird, then what about Kass?

I personally think that Link's Crimson Loftwing from SS not having an official name is a crime against humanity and Nintendo should step up their game and give him one in the HD release.
