"C-Caesar!" Yoi yelled at the blond as he let go of the arrow. The arrow was aimed at DIO, but it missed its target. Caesar quickly slung the bow on his back, running to find somewhere to think. He found a sculpture and quickly sat behind it, beside Yoi.
"Caesar, what are you doing here? I thought the doctor said you arm was slightly fractured!" You said, frantically looking from being the sculpture.
"No broken arm's ever stopped me!" Caesar said with a smirk, pointing to himself. Yoi took a quick look over at him, rolling his eyes.
"So what do we do, Cae?" Yoi said, stopping to look at him. If he was being honest, he didn't know himself. He ran into this without thinking. He had heard Fugo's cry, and he knew something was wrong. He had to go in. That's why he went in. He had to help.
He didn't answer Yoi for a bit, going on his knees to look from behind the sculpture. There, he saw Hierophant bleeding on the ground, blood spurting out of their abdomen.
Flashbacks.
Flashbacks to what happened in '99.
"... You can't go to sleep. You've got to stay with me."
His own words echoed in his head. It felt like he was there, in that day again. It sent anger up his spine. He grabbed for his quiver, taking an arrow out and standing, no matter how much pain he felt in his arm. He started out form behind the sculpture, grabbing for his bow.
Then, he felt a hand grab at his ankle
"Caesar, are you fucking crazy? You can't go out there without a plan! " Yoi said. Caesar only glared down at him.
"I've always gone in without a plan. It leaves me at no disadvantage." Caesar said coldly, then he yanked his leg away from You and ran towards the man, his target.
DIO.
