I know I'm super super super late with this, but I was determined to do some pride art specifically for my SSO stuff XD

Thus far, Venor has had little opportunity or desire to properly explore his own sexuality in his life. So when pride month came around, he simply went for the general inclusive pride flags rather than anything specific, because he really has no clue whether or not he belongs in the LGBT+ community or if he's a straight ally.

While it wasn't the best idea - and Venor knew this - he brought Blink to the parade running from Moorland to Fort Pinta. His much calmer pony Flicker would have been an objectively better choice, but he wanted to get some extra desensitizing in for Blink.

Of course, it wasn't until he was already there that he realized how loud and stimulating it'd be for the poor stallion. He used a strong bit just in case Blink spooked too badly so he wouldn't lose control so easily, but kept a light hand on the reins unless he felt the necessity to do otherwise. Thankfully, he never lost control of the horse, however Blink did end up rearing and jolting away from things quite frequently. Venor is trying to have a good time 😂

Your OC is invited to attend the annual Pride parade between Moorland and Fort Pinta! There will be fun costumes and outfits, lots of pride flags, people dancing, music, signs and activism, all sorts of stuff. Feel free to dress up your horse for the parade too if you want! Your OC can either be part of the parade or just watch and celebrate.

while bella isn't like, literally me, she still does embody many aspects of myself (it's very difficult to avoid since she's the player character of a game i've played since i was like 10 💀) so naturally she's also ace and biromantic!! fun fax amiright

Well my contribution for this is a fun fact about the SSO Pride comic with Alex coming out:

I originally planned to have Alex's mom bring up Alex's (and her brothers') 'babysitters', who were going to be a lesbian couple. The idea was an equally poor wlw couple helped out Alex's mom, watching the kids when they were super little so Alex's mom could work without needing to worry about leaving her kids alone or in child care she couldn't afford.

However that would have been a lot to cram in and explain, and Elli and I only had so many panels. And I decided against making a quick comment about some mysterious lesbian couple in a one off line. Although I'm sure the fandom would have speculated about who the mysterious 'babysitters' were, and if they were going to be added to the game.

Does that count as OCs? They aren't canon to the game or novels, they would have existed in just the reference ether of the queer comic
