Just wanted to let you know all your theories and work weren’t for nothing, they were smart and entertaining and well thought out and I’ll still be here rereading & imagining my own ending to the show with your help. Thank you for all you’ve done <3 and I’m sorry that the show ended the way it did

I’m sorry that the show ended the way that it did too. I mean, there’s part of me that’s still (admittedly delusionally) holding out for more, for some kind of reveal that this isnt all there is, but if it is, it really is just such a letdown and a graveyard of missed opportunity.

Like, even if I was wrong about everything, I still wouldve been happy if they’d written effective character arcs & stuck to the core themes of the show. But they didn’t, at least not with how things are right now. And it’s extremely unfortunate, to say the least.

Anyway, thank you again, Anon, I’m so glad that you had fun, because I did too!! Even with S5 being the way that it is, I don’t regret any of the theorizing- I had a blast! Hell, I’m still having a blast.

I dont think Mike's monologue in s4 is a lie, its not really framed as one and while there's like. A few contradictions they're such weird "lies" to write in the first place, this is the same season where they straight up forgot wills birthday so I think it's just awkward writing if anything.

How was Alan Munson characterised in the play? Idk if how he was written TFOI book but was he similar to Eddie in some way?

Alan Munson was Eddie if Eddie was a fruity theatre kid that dressed like an emo mime. Literally. No exaggeration there. He even did the devil horns thing that Eddie does. He was also a method actor for the majority of the play & kept refusing to talk to people normally/he would talk to them as if he was the Conjur Man from The Dark of the Moon.

Do you think the cast knows about Byler endgame?

yes and i dont even think anyone had to tell them because i think it's obvious from the show itself/the scripts. like i see people say "oh they wouldnt tell the cast that its endgame" and like. whether they would or not, that doesnt matter because they dont Need To because its obvious to anyone who watches the show with open eyes, ears, and mind.
