- When you guys met and he started pursuing you, Dustin always made sure you were comfortable and feeling heard at all times. He tries to learn your patterns like he’ll be graded for it, even starting a journal to keep track of your interests and preferences.
- Besides thinking you’re the most beautiful girl ever, Dusty also thinks you’re absolutely fucking brilliant. He could talk to you for hours and never get tired (he sometimes wishes he could lick your brain, too).
- Your walkie must be on at all times. As soon as he gets an idea, you’re the first person to hear about it. You two also fall asleep talking to each other on most nights. Dustin loves your voice and sleeps better if it was the last thing he heard before drifting off.
- When you two cuddle on his couch, your head is required to remain on his chest whenever possible: he loves having you so close, being able to smell you and feel you breathing. It just feels really grounding and relaxing to him.
- He loves your hair - shorter or longer, straight or curly, however you prefer to wear it, he loves it. He loves to play with it, smell it, twirl small locks of it around his index finger. Scalp massages are also his specialty, as well as just gentle caressing to soothe your nerves after a long day.

- You’re the only one he truly opens up with. He knows you won’t judge him, and that’s because he genuinely TRUSTS you. Your heart is his safe haven.
- He knows he can come to you after a bad day and find comfort in your touch and affection. He even gave you a copy of his house key so you can come and go as needed.
- You wouldn’t tell a soul about this, but you ended up saving Dustin’s life a few times, too. When the grief was all too much for him to bear, you kept him safe from things that could hurt him (drugs, weapons, anything), replacing it with your care and attention.
- His wounds are always healed with your help, whether they’re emotional or physical. He lets you clean his cuts and care for his bruises every time they happen - and even if it’s an old emotional scar ripping back open, he knows you’ll find a way to bandage it.
