Stormpilot
The thing I love about shipping stormpilot, is that its different to ship stormpilot. (Not just in the interracial gay couple in space way) but in the way that Poe and Finn treat each other. Complete trust in the other. No doubt in their abilities or calling them back because its 'too dangerous' they both know that the other will do what they need to do. Because this is war. They are in the midst of battle and bloodshed, and cannot afford to lose their head in the middle of a fight. Finn goes doing crazy shit, and Poe warns him of the danger, but doesn't hold him back, because he knows that drive. That need to do something, anything.
In TLJ when Finn went for the battering ram, Poe told him to pull back, and Finn didn't. But Poe knew that he couldn't get himself killed chasing after him. He pulled back and kept fighting from the bunker, because that's what he's really passionate about. The fight. The war. Poe's priority is the freedom of the galaxy. Finn's priority is the safety of his friends. Neither are bad, just different.
I feel like Stormpilot is a perfect representation of "I can live without you, but I don't want to." And I think that's very refreshing.
