need a scene in season 5 where will, for some reason or another, realizes he has to go to the upside down, i guess to confront vecna or something? so he tries to leave at a point when everyone else is distracted, so that there's no one to stop him--but of course mike follows him, & indeed tries to stop him. will is stubborn, though. "there's nothing you can do or say that will change my mind. i'm going, & i'm finishing this. once & for all."

& mike just stares at him, desperate, pleading... until finally, realizing he's right, he nods in acquiescence. "right. of course you are. and i'm coming with you."

Vecna and his clock

So can he actually turn back time or did he just telekinetically manipulate the mechanics of the clock? asking for reasons…

when you've been having a rough day because not only is it the apocalypse & everybody you love is in constant mortal danger, but also your girlfriend of two years has finally & officially broken up with you for good & now you've got all sorts of conflicting emotions broiling inside you (feelings you've actually had inside you what feels like forever, if you're being honest with yourself). & in the end all you really want is to just cuddle up with your platonic boybestie who's been staying in your room lately because he & his family don't have anywhere else to go

i just think mike deserves to have another breakdown like the one he had with hopper in s2, but more. i'm talking visceral, screaming, heaving, ugly sobbing, etc... as a treat <3

no but i NEED to see will/lucas bestieism in season 5 or so help me god

ok i know this wouldn't really fit with the tone of the show, but i would love love LOVE to see an episode in season 5 in which at least part of the episode takes place in some kind of imagined fantasy world, with the party dressed up & acting like their d&d characters. & yes i know this sounds weird, but what i'm picturing is that it would be some sort of trauma-induced escapism fantasy, a coping mechanism of sorts. it could even still follow what's supposed to be happening in the real world aka they're trying to figure out how to beat vecna. and, of course, as depressing as it is i feel like this idea fits best if will is the one behind it (aka it's taking place in his imagination, or whatever)..... :(

what if will has some kind of close call near the beginning of s5 (yes, here's how the 'will gets vecna'd' theory can still win-), they're all convinced he's about to die, everyone is shouting, trying to bring him back, & mike... well, mike is just standing there. frozen. he can't do anything to help, can't think of the right words to say. he's well & truly paralyzed with fear. & el notices. notices how this reaction differs so much from how we saw him at the end of s4, with the monologue (yes, he needed a push to start speaking in the first place, but he still did. he still could.). & it suddenly, finally occurs to her: she loves mike, & mike loves her.....but not in the way he loves will.
