Ok, hi, random anon here, dumb thought of mine but... What if... Yandere! Steve... Just imagine the usually chill, laid back guy being not so chill when the time calls for it. The drama and angst that could sprout from this :)
Oh yeah, Steve being a Yandere is the type of thing no one expects. He doesn't necessarily control it because of his laid-back personality. He just "goes with the flow" when it happens. The thing about that is it makes him extremely dangerous.
He's a walking natural gaslight and he knows it. It could be something in his genes like maybe he's part demon and it's a trait that was passed onto him. His smile tends to make people believe that he could do no wrong. This is dangerous for you because if you start picking up on his behaviors and start talking to those around you about it, you'll get told it's all in your head until something drastic happens.
Oops, his dagger slipped and it landed in someone's jugular vein, that someone is the one who was messing with you. Or just someone shooting the breeze. Maybe they meant no harm at all. He just shrugs and says it is what it is. And he does all of it with a smile. Those around him, despite just seeing what he just did, find that they don't believe he did it. They had to have seen it wrong because his demeanor does not change. This is Steve. He would have never... But you know what you just saw.
You have to find people who don't know Steve and that's really hard to do. As a Coven Scout, he got around and a majority of people know him for being a "Bad Boy with a Heart of Gold", playful as hell, and wanting nothing more than to create a little mischief to entertain himself when he's on patrol. In fact, that's what attracted you to him in the first place. Now, it terrifies you that Steve can literally get away with murder in a room full of people and they're certain he didn't do it.
When Steve starts suspecting you of breaking away from him and realizing what he's doing, he confronts you and tries to calm you down and reel you back into believing in him again. The way he talks to you is pleasant and soft, but it was the opposite tone of what he was saying. Seeing you weren't swayed, he'd come clean.
"Yeah, so what if I killed the guy? He was messing with you. I couldn't have that. Aren't you happy that I love you enough to protect you like that? Don't you feel safe, babe?"
No, you didn't feel safe. And you began to think about what he'd do to you if you didn't fall back in line. When he picks up on this, he just laughs.
"No, babe, I'm not going to get leave you if that's what you're thinking. This is just a rough patch. I love you too much to be apart from you like that. I'm going to stay by your side until death does us part. You're my everything. You feel that too, right? Of course, you do. We're soulmates."
It was at that moment that you knew you were trapped with him. He wouldn't try to keep you confined anywhere, being too much of a free spirit and all, but he would follow you to the ends of the Boiling Isles or the world itself and you would never be able to have anyone else in your life without him killing them and never facing the consequences. He would find you no matter where you went.
what was shu execution like?
This doesn’t really show it off very well, but Shuichi’s execution in the au is called “Escape room”
He’s trapped in a room with a clock counting down from 1 hour, and has to figure out the various puzzles to unlock the door and escape.
He was told before his execution that there is in fact a way to escape and if he fails both Kokichi and Kaito will die, and then so will maki for having technically killed them both.
(Ko and Kai survived by sharing the antidote, and staged the press with fake blood, unfortunately that means the poison was only slowed for both of them rather than one being cured)
While if it were just the puzzles Shuichi would have probably solved them with relative ease, unfortunately Monokuma is never fair and executions are meant to be painful
At the start the puzzles really are just normal puzzles but the more he solves the more dangerous they get. Starting with things like spikes shooting out of something he’s trying to grab on to, which is rather easy to avoid if you pay attention (which after the first time he does)
But they become more and more painful/unfair. It starts when shuichi goes to stick his hands into a hole he needs to put a combination into and fire shoots out of it. Shuichi by this point expecting the trap pulls his hands out before any harm comes to him…
It doesn’t stop, putting in this combination is absolutely necessary to get to the next step, so he has to stick his hands in flames long enough to set the numbers in to continue.
The traps continue on like this, forcing shuichi to walk while a metal pole coursing with electricity is sticking through his leg, all the way to the end of a small hallway.
Releasing a thin amount of poison gas that filters through the room for the entire rest of the punishment, which makes Shuichi woozy, weak and sick
He has to walk over nails to reach one area, and while on the way in he manages to distribute his weight as to not hurt himself, as soon as he gets what he needs a metal sheet starts closing over the exit to the area and he has to launch his body under the door to make it out in time, which means his entire front half gets raked over sharp nails.
These are only some examples of the traps set in the room. But in the end Shuichi manages to unlock the door opening it to find…
A massive spike pit, and no exit in sight. So now Shuichi has two choices, jump out of the house and die to the spikes or stay in the house until it explodes killing him.
So how does he survive?
I like how I said a) I have a lot of art things I need to finish up/work on this week and b) I want to work on stronger compositions and now I’m sitting here with a) a new wip that b) had just utterly Bad composition.
I am a fool and a fraud and my stylus is held together with scotch tape
UPDATE: i havent written in. yrs but i tried my best
Eli didn’t expect it at first, or at least he thought he didn’t. The subways loud enough with people shuffling past you; everyone’s got the same idea in mind and thats to get from place A to B. Not to mention the fact Eli’s already trying to discern the mystery texter already bombarding his phone. Jumping off the already chock-full-of-assholes train, it wouldn’t be to hard pinpointing the mutant through a crowd. If hits tattoos weren’t a dead giveaway then his black to black outfit makes it hard not to notice. A black beanie, black sweatshirt with inscribed words. “BLAME,” in red, and a black large jacket, pants and boots. There’s not to many people at the bowery stop and he’s already waiting for the V train to take him crosstown. Phone’s already out, he’s definitely on the move. Not physically but lets just say emotionally by the smirk on his face. That familiar metal ring and whizz of air brings Eli back just barely, his stops here. Lots of people are presently getting off, and on, so it’s a hassle but hes not to disturbed by the fact. Something hits him in the front, and its hard enough that he looks up. Accidents happen, he’s not about to berate the guy for bumping into him. Until Eli hears the familiar clicks and something knocks him from the back. A series of faint sharp snaps, and he’s immediately stunned in place. His phone drops, trying to maintain his balance by holding whatever’s against him. They’re pretty broad shoulders, which is where he initially starts to panic, and his palms build heat. “Hey. Buddy. Sh-- it’s alright. You know why. You know why.” That voice is pretty familiar, actually? Unwantingly familiar. Uncomfortably, familiar. “You’re in public and you know better than to start mass panic.” Eli remains silent, and his grip loosens obediently, and wrap around his abdomen. It’s warm, and wet, and jesus christ? It hurts. Someone from behind pats him from the shoulder, and the masses jump the train. That familiar bell rings and the door start to close. Eli turns, and falls back against a metal column, trying to get a good look. “Hey-- pal. Don’t give us that look. You know, exactly, why. “ The doors close, and the subway doesn’t just resume, but everything does.
