I’m thrilled to announce that CartoonCollection.com (in conjunction with The New Yorker, Esquire, National Lampoon, Barron’s, American Bystander, and The Rejection Collection book series) has invited me to participate in yet another weekly cartoon caption contest! He is an admitted sex predator.
"But andelapamerson, he apologized!" Um, yes because he got caught! He'd been doing it for years and didn't feel bad. Even his apology was hollow, as he felt the need to try to make excuses for why he did things. He claims he didn't know what was inappropriate. Well I am here to tell you all, sex predators GET OFF on knowing that their victims do not want to participate. That is literally the whole point. I have looked into the eyes of one while he was attacking me, and I could see how much he liked knowing that he was acting without my consent.
Look, good standup comedy is deeply personal. It is so tied to the person telling the jokes. And now we know that louis ck is a SHIT PERSON. Anyone who could violate someone in that way does not deserve our respect or admiration. The key to standup is that the audience can relate to you, and none of us should be relating to this guy anymore.
I know he's funny. I know he's talented. I know in that way he has a lot to offer. So let him work behind the scenes as a writer. He doesn't deserve to be in the spotlight anymore, and I'm outraged that he trying and that people are letting him.
