The Legend of Seawright and the Star
People say Seawright steals stars. He's a witch, or something like it. No one knows where he came from, but he does wicked things... He shapeshifts to lure pretty girls off of country paths as a rabbit then slaughters them to steal their souls. He walks through villages and enchants the people out of their money. He carries plague and famine on his shoulders. He sings a mermaid song to mesmerize, he dances and everyone follows without wills of their own. He is all the sins in physical form.
And he steals the stars. Some say it's because sin thrives in darkness and he wishes to rob the people of their hope. But the real reason isn't quite as evil.
Seawright was born without a heart. He takes because he's empty. But surely stars can fill holes in your chest, they're so bright, so warm. If he takes enough, maybe it'll help. But what he didn't know was that it really only takes one. The right one. And one day, a star fell right in front of him. He didn't even need to take it out of the sky. Isn't that lucky?
This star wasn't the brightest, or the newest, but it saw the good in everyone and everything, even in Seawright. Even though there was no good to see. But because it looked and believed, Seawright started to believe it too. He started behaving differently because he believed it was how he was meant to behave. And even though it wasn't there, because the star believed and that made Seawright act better, the good grew. He still did what he wanted, but sometimes he'd consider the star and he'd adjust his actions for its sake.
The star taught Seawright to be good, and Seawright's goodness taught the star to feel human emotions, and together they fell in love.
Seawright was caught one day. He hadn't realised that with his love, he'd started to lose his immortality and powers, but a bounty had been placed on him by the people and finally they captured him and he was wounded very badly in the fight... So the star did what it could to save Seawright. It absorbed Seawright's soul into itself and together they escaped to the sky and became a new star, free to be together in the infinite cosmos. And Seawright, who had always been lost on Earth, finally felt at home.
A fairytale written for a Johniarty roleplay.

I’ve been working on this bit by bit for two weeks
FINALLY I FINISHED THIS DRAWING!!! Star John for you guys!
Possessive(Star!John): John watched with a deep frown on his young features as the man in the yellow shirt started to lead Khan away. That was unacceptably not ok. Khan was his moon, not the colored shirt peoples moon. Giving a scowl he stumbled after them, moving to latch teeth into Kirk's calf and kick at him like a little hell cat before running to Khan. Clinging to his leg and giving to other man a stink eye to end all stink eyes. (Imagine it's early on in John's life on the ship)
The Captain's rather un-manly yelp was his first clue that something had gone suddenly awry. He whirled to find Kirk shaking off their resident star-child's teeth, which, along with a foot, had found their way firmly into his leg. While the Iowan rubbed sorely at his calf and glowered confusedly at the retreated child, Khan picked up the boy and rested him on his hip. Given the boy's usually rather timid character, the outburst was no small surprise. "What's wrong?" he asked the child curiously, doing his best to contain a smile all the while.
