You know, there is something so inherently messed up about Ash's first battle against Paul once Chimchar joins the team.

Because Chimchar was the one who initiated it. Paul was going to walk away from Ash, but he stayed because Chimchar was the one who demanded a battle. Because Chimchar was the one who volunteered to battle at all, because he wanted to defend Ash from Paul after Paul blamed him for the loss in the first round. Because Chimchar was the one who helped Paul catch that Ursaring in the first place, because Chimchar was definitely there when Paul trained it, because Chimchar knows that Ursaring and still got so scared.

Because Secret Power's flinch only lasts one turn and it's because Paul mocked Chimchar for it. Because Paul just looked so angry, when everyone was trying to snap Chimchar out of it, because they think he's amazing and Paul thinks he's worthless and he was angry back then too, when Ash asked Chimchar to come with him in the first place. It's because when Chimchar bursts out of the ground, fire climbing so much higher than it's ever done before, Ash's first instinct is relief, because Chimchar is alright.

(Because it was only after Chimchar left Paul that Blaze activated, even though Ursaring is the same Pokemon, even though he's still being pummeled in the same way as before. Brock says it's because Chimchar is being cheered on by his friends and a need to prove Ash right and prove Paul wrong, but I wonder what it says about Chimchar that the first time Blaze was activated was after he left Paul, battling an Ursaring he knows but seems so much more scared of, that Blaze activates and won't stop.)

Harmonia shines au infodump

Okay so! first off, this au is pretty silly, its basically HMSW but what is whole was *actually* a god in their headspace.

In the au heart goes by Neoma, mind goes by Soleil, soul goes by Asteria, and whole goes by Gaia/Harmonia !

For pronouns Neoma uses any/all but prefers they them. Soleil uses he/she/it. Asteria uses he/they/it and Gaia uses he/she/they !

I currently dont have too much set out about the au but I do have their heights!

Ok- so I've mentioned it twice now lol about

"Bad Reset, Best Outcome"

But what is it?

Bad reset, Best outcome is my AU Skellies X Y/N story :] But I decided to put a little spin on it-

So Y/N and Skelly are dating- happy as can be, over coming skellies past, all the good stuff and fluff. :]

Unfortunately this doesn't last long- after they've been together for some years now, in cute couple fashion they fall asleep snuggled up together- and then there is a reset.

Skeleton wakes up back in their room underground, with vague (how vague depends on if they remember resets or not) recollection of someone important to them.

Y/N wakes up right outside the ruins door in Snowdin laying in the snow lol. Y/N remembers everything (as a human), and doesn't know where they are, just that they miss their skelly :'[

Then story follows and based on the AU they'll find skelly in different ways. Then you follow the adventures of Skelly and Y/N trying to survive in the underground! This is easy or hard depending on the AU
