8. Who’s better at comforting the other?

I think Esme ends up needing comfort more often, maybe for smaller things, whereas Carlisle needs frequent reassurance but occasional rescue when he gets too deep in his worries. So in the end, the award goes to Esme because she has the harder job.

6. Who worries the most? 

Carlisle, no question about it. Not only does he feel the weight of responsibility for so many things and “works” on future possibilities, but he also continues to weigh his past choices and the consequences that have followed, or might have followed. He doesn’t spiral downward like Edward does, and he might not call most of this “worrying,” but that’s what it is.

Series Meme

Favorite character: James “Jimothy” Norrington, sometime Commodore, sometime Admiral, all-around all-time fave and certified Fine Man with a bastard streak a mile wide.  I love......he.  If you were to unmask half of my faves Scooby-Doo style, it’s his mug you’d find underneath.

Second favorite character: Elizabeth Swann, FOR SHE IS THE PIRATE KIIIIIIIIING (SHE IS, HURRAH FOR THE PIRATE KING)!  And it is, it is, a glorious thing to be the Pirate King.

Least favorite character: Ted and Terry’s many, many instances of casual-to-outright racism.  Yicycles.

The character I’m most like: Gibbs is a Mood at almost every juncture.

Favorite pairings: True answer: James Norrington/Esmeralda Maria Consuela Anna de Sevilla (a criminally underrated character from The Price of Freedom) as RPed by @emcads.  Normal people answer: Norribeth, Willabeth, Sparrabeth, Turrington, JackAnamaria.

Least favorite pairing: I don’t care for Norrington/Beckett, though that’s a dynamic I can sometimes appreciate in other fandoms.  I also used to dislike Sparrington years ago but I’ve come around to it more.  I also can’t take the Royal Navy Bros ot3 seriously and it’s all because of this

Favorite moment: Norrington in Tortuga is my bread and butter.  This is why I’m HERE.  That said, literally nothing else in cinema can ever hope to beat the Willabeth Wedding in AWE.  David Lean could never.

Rating out of 10: Cinematography, Production Design, Soundtrack, and Characters: 10000/10.  Pacing/Structural Editing: 2/10, FIGHT ME POTC EDITORS!!
