The young man was unfamiliar but then there was plenty of Statesman personnel he’d never met and wasn’t likely to meet. It had only been a few days but between his injuries and frustration in the situation, his patience was wearing THIN. If not for Statesman’s considerable medical technology and resources, he would have insisted on returning to Europe. But he couldn’t quite yet. So, a perfect stranger in his room at present was not likely to IMPROVE his mood. “It’s generally considered polite to knock before ye enter someone’s room unannounced.”

“You know, you’d be surprised at how many alcoholic surgeons there are... Or not. I haven’t actually met another alcoholic surgeon, but hey. At least I don’t drink on the job, right?” He downs the rest of his dry martini and waves the bartender for another. “Shit gets to you, man.”

The dark haired male looks into the crackling fire as the sun was slowly setting and looks over at his companion. Bourbon and him hadn’t really spent a lot of time around each other until recently, and so while having a little RnR, Cognac opted to invite him to go camping up in in the heavily wooded mountains surrounding his family’s land.

“So, you enjoyin’ yer time up here?” he asks softly.
