Just got back from my Abuela-in-law's 100th and she gave me a present. HER SILVERWARE!
I know what you are thinking but hear me out here. The stems are sticks. Like full on tree branches. I have been wanting this set for 27 years now. They are from the 1960's and have been discontinued since before I was born and I'm 52. I have looked on eBay, Facebook marketplace, and every thrift store from Miami to Orlando to Tampa. I tried to reverse image search a picture I took of them and still nothing. I had truly lost hope and she decided to just let me have them.
WOOT WOOT!
I know you want to see them but Jax left them in the car and I'm too tired to go back downstairs. Tomorrow I will re-blog this with pictures so you know what they look like. They really cool looking and I am just so happy to have been honored with caring for them until they can go to the next generation.
