The German women’s national team will apparently take part in the SheBelieves Cup, an invitational tournament in the US, for the last time.

“It’s a huge effort. If we can choose, we will play in the Algarve Cup again in the future,” affirms the 45-year-old [Steffi Jones] before the departure.

The DFB most likely will not extend the contract [re: SBC] and take part in the traditional Algarve Cup in February 2019 again. The contracts with the US-American organisers were made when Jones was still DFB manager; there were sports-political admissions behind it, too.
