Character designs for my upcoming book "Lockettopia: The Trojan War Cycle."
In The Trojan Women by Euripides, CASSANDRA foresees that her forced union with Agamemnon will lead not to her shame, but to his destruction and Clytemnestra’s revenge. She celebrates the vision wildly, knowing her death will complete the prophecy. That premonition is fulfilled in Agamemnon by Aeschylus, where Cassandra arrives in Argos, predicts the murder inside the palace, and is killed alongside the king exactly as she foresaw.
