Stepney the "Bluebell" engine will turn 150 years old soon, and @terrier55stepney has written a Railway Series-style book to celebrate! A new story is being released each week, counting down to Stepney's birthday.
I was asked to illustrate the first story and greatly enjoyed it 😁 Give it a listen!

Day 2845, 29 March 2026
Brayford Square, Stepney, London
Recently I have been neglecting my urban photography, more of which can be found on London Edge. I also realised that it is almost the end of urban photography season because I prefer thick grey skies and no greenery!
Therefore I decided to take a trip to Brayford Square which, despite this photo, is bland, soulless and largely vacant. Anyway I was attracted here to this colourful mural (presumably a tribute to shops in the square now closed down) and the old east End pub (which is, of course, no longer a pub). I shall post more photos of Brayford Square on London Edge.
