After a lifetime of thinking I could go this on my own I finally made an appointment to start working with a therapist. I hope I like them.

Steps Forward || Ford & Violet
@thedensedoctor
Violet took quick steps towards the clinic, humming a quiet melody under her breath. Normally, she only hummed when she watered her flowers or cleaned at the dragon shrine, but that day, she felt happy to hum as much as she wanted. After all...she had only just gotten her voice back. Everything felt...right. She didn’t have to go back to that place. She could just...live.
And since she was now free of her curses, she knew the first person she wanted to tell - aside from Sonja, Dorothy, and Mist. Violet didn’t have a shift at the clinic that day (and her shift at the Dragon Shrine was understandably canceled), so she had to go on her own time. Violet decided to go later in the day, when she knew things would start to get a little slow around the clinic.
She stopped short of the clinic, her humming stopping. Violet straightened up her dress, a slight twinge of pink on her cheeks. She took in a deep breath and walked in.
It wasn’t long until she found Ford at his desk appearing to be studying away at something. Violet took a few timid steps to his desk - still keeping a healthy amount of distance - and took in several breaths.
“H...H-Hello, Ford,” Violet timidly greeted, internally berating herself for stuttering.
IM MEDICATED AGAIN!!! So that’s cool
Australia voted yes in the survey. I'm crying
Getting some things figured out, at least.
So Rob went and visited our solicitor on Tuesday and we got a lot of questions answered and brought up to speed on any changes. Thankfully there weren't any that apply to us. Rob is still looking for another job but hopefully getting closer. And I just started a new job this week. It's nice and all to be back to work but I can't wait for May when I'm back at my shop. Can honestly say that I missed it. And in other news Rob and I are going to get married here in the states. Two main reasons: -it's easier. Once we apply and get that part sorted I'll be able to start looking for work immediately once I move over there. Which is my main priority once I get settled. And - it will be easier to change all my documents. So my drivers license, social security card, and my passport. That way I don't have to deal with the embassy and then try and figure out how I'd change my drivers license. There's obviously other reasons but those are the main two. She also told him that most couples do get married in the states because it's less hassle. Which we kind of assumed anyway. Now we are just waiting on him to find a new job or at least another one. 🤗🤗
