Marine mammal watching in Belize often requires that we dress up like a colorfully clad desert mercenary out of a cheesy sci-fi flick and post up on kayaks for hours on end in calm rippling waters. The little dolphin surfaced with its mouth open and chomping at surface water. It splashed vigorously and with purpose and played in a vertical fashion alongside adults and juveniles. We’ll use images of their dorsal fins in our country-wide catalog of bottlenose dolphins in Belize. Say hello to the newest edition from Caye Caulker!
