“The Devil Came Not by Land, But by Air”Or: How a German Forest Phantom Became an American Flying Machine of Pure Hysteria In the hills and hollows of western Maryland—where the fog coils like a threat and the trees seem to lean in just a little too close—there is said to be a creature that swoops from the sky with a scream like scalding steel, blood in its beak, and no agenda beyond terror for…
Turtle Skull
Last bit of paleoart for today, an illustration of a nanotyrannus/juvenile Tyrannosaurus skull I did for a paleontology class! Enjoy!
[ID a stipple drawing of a small tyrannosaur skull, illustrated from lateral (from the side) and dorsal (from the top) views. The individual skull bones are outlined and labeled in both views, and the fenestrae (openings) in the skull where matrix would have filled are shaded flat grey. There is a 10cm scale bar at the bottom of each skull, with the total skull length being around a meter. END]
When I went night tidepooling I kept seeing these crabs with pointed faces. I took photos and uploaded them to @inaturalistorg to figure out what they were. Turns out they are Northern Kelp Crabs! Of course I had to start drawing right away to add one to my collection.
"Cool Guys Wear Neck Ties"
Hey guys I decided to actually post my fanart on my fan blog because why Not. I was avoiding it in case in future my art account gets associated with this for clients and stuff but idc enough.
My art insta is @ jayambroseart if anyone wants to go and show me some love and see my other sanders sides fan art that I'll probably post over the next few days on here as well.
This took me about 12 hours and was done with a 0.8 pigma micron on a sheet of off white paper a little smaller than a4. I love logan with all my heart and I hope it shows in all my dots lol

Stipple drawing progress. I still need to fix things and fill the whole page with shells. This’ll take me all week it’s such a slow way to draw.
