Hello world! How are you doing out there? We've nearly done January! Must be the slowest month in the calender, and now onto a short leap-year February and then Spring! We have got this! Here are a collection of Pedal Powered Stitch portraits completed in the last couple of weeks at Camp Bestival and Wilderness festival! The busy pedal powered stitch-a-thon continues....! Next stop: The Bull Dog Bash - a Hells Angel motorbike festival in Stratford-upon- Avon, hairy men and motor cycles - what better subject matter? Just home from a brief trip to Germany. I was stitching portraits in a gallery in Bad Säckingen. The highlight of the weekend was this wonderful women, she is 86 years old, sat in her traditionally decorated home. We drunk tea and ate cake whilst she told me of her experiences of the War and how she grew and made everything her family needed. It was interesting to hear of the World war stories from a different perspective.
