How Stolas And Stella Would Be Like If I Wrote Them

Stella (sips tea): Stolas, really?!? You picked some random imp to sleep with after all I gave you the opportunities at my parties to meet with some nice fellow Goetias who could give us some perks.

Stolas (sips as he sighs): He's an old friend of mine from childhood.

Stella: Well, keep it on the downlow we don't want people snooping about and using this against us, especially my brother. Also I saw he had that grimoire of yours. Why does that plebeian have it?

Stolas (grimaced as he admitted): I decided to for him to borrow to help him in his little business.

Stella (anger): Stolas?!? Do you know how much of a gamble you are doing, especially with what is supposed to be our daughter's inheritance?!?

Stolas (defending his choice): I know it's risky, but it's why I emphasized to Blitzy and his littler ones to keep an eye out for it and not get caught. I might even teach them to do disguises when they are out on earth.

Stella (rubbed her head in frustration): You nicknamed him already. Fine. Whatever. But let me warn you better keep an eye on it because if your little boy toy falls then you fall then I fall as well. I don't want to be forced back under my brother's grasp.

[She then stood quiet as she remembered the unpleasant touches and words her own brother have used against her in the past, which Stolas at this point knew too well and despite not loving Stella one of the reasons both of them kept up this loveless marriage was to protect her from him.]

Stolas: Stella, I promise I will do everything to make sure no one catches a sniff of this.

[Just then a commercial of IMP turns on the tv and the jingle comes on with them blatantly showing the grimoire in the background.]

Stella (turned): You were saying.

Stola (slumped): I will talk with him.

about Stella and Octavia

no, Stella isn't Andrealfus/Adrammelech's sister in this AU, it's cooler lol because she's Stolas' great-granddaughter

through his branch she inherited non-human traits, like Eden creatures she looks like human, but with feathers and specific eyes, + can turn into white owl

and yes she has a child with him (they were never married, and both have/have had children from others; Octavia is the youngest of Stolas' intelligent demon children and the eighth of Stella's daughters)

Stella first met Stolas in person at one of the festivals in his honor, she was already over five hundred years old then

Octavia just entering the age of girlhood

Stella was born during the Roman Republic time, she's monumental and she's... tough, love for daughters and stargazing are the only soft things about her

she named all her daughters in Latin, one by one, she just found old Roman tradition of naming daughters pleasant to hear

Stella raises Octavia herself, like all older children

adores daughter and teaches her everything that's necessary, but treats her strictly and is very afraid to let her go, because she has already lost three daughters (Secunda died of illness, Quarta on the Governor's hunt, Sexta in childbirth)

Octavia loves mom and knows that mom will always be at her side, but sometimes gets tired of her guidance and care

they don't communicate with Stolas very often: he's ~8,500 years old, indifferent to parenthood because of age and treats Stella and Octavia as good acquaintances

however, when Stella gave birth to eight daughter, she came to him to show child (Stolas said "she would be beautiful", and he was right)

Octavia knows that she's her father's great-great-granddaughter at the same time, but she doesn't care, it's okay for firstborn creatures, they're all related to each other in one way or another

she's still a recluse, but she came to Stolas' festival to offer prayers when his holiday was helding

sometimes Octavia visits Stolas in his observatory, garden and workshop, they spend time together examining stars and herbs

Octavia reads aloud to father when he wants to sleep

• no lmao, they mostly just know that each other exist

• Blitzo is the count-governor Glasya-Labolas' chief huntsman and is having an affair with own career and ambitions, Stolas doesn't really care about anything but the stars, patronizing people and science

• it was Blitzo who tamed hellhounds on the tournament

• count-governor once brought Blitzo to one of receptions to show off his new huntsman; it was their second and last meeting with Stolas

Now That I Think About It They Could Have Just Had An Asmodean Crystal And All This Bs With Stolas Could Be Written Out (Or At Least Rewritten To Be Less Insufferable)

Seriously, the Asmodean Crystals just showed how useless Stol-ass really is to the plot. They could have easily stolen the crystal from someone which again could lead to stories where they still could get in trouble with Asmodeus for stealing from one of the people licensed to have one. The series would have had to be rewritten to fit focusing on the assassination and not the tired love drama. We could have had something more similar with the pitch drama without all the bs drama with a selfish pos with a victim complex. Or even better maybe Asmodeus grants Blitzo permission to have it so he can do his own business but again they still have to be careful about not catching heaven's notice. And Asmodeus instead of Stolas could be their powerful benefactor.

As for Stolas, instead of him being a major character he could be someone who is the client of an episode or a few and offers them to do a hit on someone like base on his pilot episode where he wants someone killed to prevent people from knowing global warming was happening so more people can die. He could become infatuated and flirty towards Blitzo and maybe it mention he has a fetish for imps. And even maybe make him a recurring, supportive character who is trying to give Blitzo a call but tries rejecting him because he's creepy about it. If you want him to be a love interest make him a divorced gay man after splitting with his wife and having joint custody of his daughter.

His focus episodes would be for later but they won't take over the show. Maybe have him develop to respect Blitzo more and to gradually have Blitzo warm up to him as he treats him as an equal. Looloo Land would still be a thing but it would take place later in season one where we see Octavia where he would still hire Blitzo to bodyguard so he can have a day out with his daughter to get some parent/child time together since he doesn't see her as much due to the divorce. And he could learn how he should focus on being a parent and not push aside for his love interest. Best of all it's not Blitzo's fault a marriage and family life was destroyed.

You could still have his past bad relationship issues show up but again this time it's not tied with forcing to think he did anything bad to the owl. And Stolas isn't as bad as his canon persona who forced him into a transactional exchange. He instead comes to learn he really does see Blitzo as more of a person and also gradually comes to respect the other IMP members as well. The stigma of both of them together would be emphasized and maybe in House Of Asmodeus it could get him in trouble since Blitzo is seeing going out with a prince which Amodeus condemns in public (but secretly he himself is seeing Frizzaroli who covers his imp heritage up). Since he's now their benefactor it could give the risk of having the crystal taken away which could put a snag in their relationship and maybe Stolas suggests that they shouldn't be seen so he doesn't risk losing so much for his job. And it would be bittersweet for both of them as they were organically catching feelings and it stings. And again season two still focuses on the missions but also the subplot would be about how to move around seeing Stolas without incurring Asmodeus wrath on them for an interclass/interspecies relationship.

My take on Stolas I think is like. The extreme opposite of where he currently is because I can't stand his canon counterpart. Mine does still have his faults though. He doesn't concern himself with his status I suppose because of all the unhappiness it brought him so in his mind it doesn't bear much importance even when Stella brings it up because it worries her for how it will look on her and Octavia, but he goes along with it for her sake until he meets Blitz. He definitely almost shuts down when it comes to anything involving their arranged marriage. And his love for Blitz blinds him and makes him stupid. Of course neither him or Stella should have to be stuck being unhappy but he is quite inconsiderate when it comes to what it might look like for Stella and his daughter if he's with an imp because like it or not they are considered lower class
