a proud noble lady of mixed origin: mostly the blood of Sheol creatures and first Nephilim

beautiful and cruel: love for daughters and stargazing are the only soft things about her

patronizes several fighting arenas

gave birth to eight wonderful daughters, three of them died (Secunda died of illness, Quarta was killed on the Governor's hunt, Sexta passed away in childbirth being an adult)

Stella adores Octavia, her youngest child, and teaches her everything that's necessary, but treats her strictly and VERY afraid to let her go

Double Creature Feature - Stella and Andre Goetia

Here it is, Stella and Andre. You can probably tell where Stella's Backstory was inspired by.

Stella

The youngest out of 10 siblings Stella was the only female and the last child of the family. Andre was her eldest brother who cared deeply for her. Stella was supposed to be married off the moment she was old enough to. Stella was born a runt which meant constant bullying and mistreatment. She was set to marry someone before Stolas but because the other guy wasn't a "fun guy" she rejected it. Stella contracted a severe undocumented case of the Bird Flu which caused a lot of strife and expectations. She was expected as the child and only defacto girl to wave and act pretty. Even when she was exhausted. Even when she was told to shut up and obey. Even when she was forced to be kind to her father. Stella had several miscarriages (infertile eggs) before Octavia became her Rainbow Baby, despite tricking Stolas into marrying her (A la Bloberta.) she felt nothing towards Stolas. Not even love, not even hate. Just... detestation. It even highlighted and flared when Octavia was "born" she tried to be a present mother knowing that she couldn't. But with Stolas being absent and never there. She had to be the only stable parent. Sometimes her past comes to bite her in the ass, and this is where she found out the Imp she actually loved, Blitzo was sleeping with Stolas. She never blamed Blitzo, but blamed Stolas for everything as he was a "monster" and it was "in his nature" to seduce weak people into ever being with him.

Andre

Being the eldest, Andre was parentified. Oftentimes having to raise his rowdy 9 brothers and when his youngest sibling Stella was born. He had a mission to protect her. While his other siblings were married off fairly quickly. Stella often leaned on him for support, either from the pain of depression or being lonely. Andre became her support. Andre wanted to be there for his sister but sadly after the death of their parents and his eventual sworn in as the King of Ars Goetia he had abandoned his protectiveness and decided to effectively focus on work.

Who ever came up with the Idea to add pink to a character with orange as signature colour had to be fired.

Orange and pink have almost the same value. Especially that shades they used for Stella. It's a mess. No ever heard of contrasts and that value is more important than colour itself? While Blooms Believix just doesn't look good in pink because of the red hair, the colours (light blue and pink, red and light blue as pairs) at least look good together in Theory.

But orange and pink in the same fucking value?

Again the outfit itself isn't that bad. It's the colours.

pt2 i tried sticking to the reboot Version but the skirt refused to work with the top soo .. season 1 pants BOOM

Had a small talk with @satas-momento in the comment section of my post critiquing Stella Goetia’s design and spoke about the literary implications of a secretarybird Stella whose body was designed for killing snakes but whose husband turned out to be a snake himself. I got inspired! So I drew a headshot of her based on this piece by Jakob Heinrich von Hefner, specifically the first drawing of an Italian prince and squire. It’s not great, but I really liked the concept. I’ll probably redraw it later!
