This year, Thanksgiving falls on Jimi Hendrix' and Bruce Lee's birthday, November 27th!! I am always very, very thankful for the things that I have, but this year is extra special because I get to be thankful for these two phenomenal super stars being born on Thanksgiving Day!! I knew it was Jimi's birthday. I've known that for decades, but I just found out that it's also Bruce's birthday from @daddydogman . We are both big Bruce Lee fans, and I adore Jimi Hendrix, but I digress, as is my nature. 😁😁😁 I know times are tough these days, but I hope that you all can find the many gifts that we all already have and be thankful for them. I love Thanksgiving!! ❤️ It's one of my favorite holidays. I wish that it wasn't put on the back burner because people have been conditioned to start celebrating Christmas in October. That's inane. I believe that October is for Halloween... November is for Thanksgiving... and the day after Thanksgiving is when we should start celebrating Christmas!!! I think that being thankful for what we already have is much more important than some mass marketing propaganda that makes people believe they need to buy, buy, buy to be happy and celebrate Christmas. Christmas has nothing to do with gifts that you buy. It's all about the gifts that you already have and about sharing those beautiful gifts with each other. First, you are thankful for those gifts and you go around the table and talk about them on Thanksgiving. Once you're fully aware of them, then, you celebrate them with others through love, brotherhood, and kindness and giving of one's self. As the Grinch said in the original cartoon with Boris Karloff, Christmas isn't something you can buy at a store... perhaps, Christmas mean a whole lot more... and then he, himself, the Grinch carves the roast beast!! I love that movie, and I cry every time at that part of that great movie because the Grinch is right, and his heart grew the sizes bigger that day with that realization!! Please focus of the true meaning of these wonderful holidays and find joy in what you already have and in each other and not in black Friday and buying everything they are trying to get you to buy. Let's find the true beauty of life this year and celebrate each other and love and peace on Earth!!! Happy Thanksgiving!! I'll say Merry Christmas in December like it should be!! And happy birthday to Jimi and Bruce!! 🥳🥳🥳
