I NEED YOUR HELP! In a nutshell, I will now explain what is happening in my country. Why should you care? Because what is happening now This applies to you too. It can become a problem for the whole world ,It has already become. Because the enemy uses prohibited weapons that will lead to catastrophy. The enemy is using Syrian terrorist mercenaries. The enemy violates human rights. We are threatened with genocide. Armenia is now fighting alone against terrorism and the Nazi dictator.
You can help by being informed and by spreading this information. You have no idea how serious it is now. Because now our main enemy is disinformation. So that you understand how serious it is that the opposite side does not admit journalists. Yesterday they shot and wounded two French journalists. So yes. Even one of your repost and reading can help.
1 History. It may sound boring, but this is where it all started. This is important to know, because now our main enemy is misinformation. Therefore, PLEASE! Read.
Five days ago, we were attacked by our two neighboring countries. Azerbaijan with Turkey support. The 7th day (officialy 5th) we have a real war. And I need your help. The main thing that you can do now to help is to be informed and share this information.
This topic will be split into 3 parts. this part is the most important. Because it is about this that the other side constantly misinforms. We will understand where the conflicts with these two countries came from. And how and why the war started.
A sneak peek into history.
What kind of conflict we have with Turkey, why is it planning a second genltsid and why its president is called Turkish Hitler.
So. I am an Armenian. Perhaps you have not heard about Armenia. We are the oldest people. Our ethnos was formed in the 13th century BC. We are the first people to accept Christianity in 301. In the 14th century, in our region, which is called Nadgorny Kovkaz, trading tribes. They did not have their own homeland and traveled around the world. Then, they shared one religion and by conquering countries acquired their own. This country was the Ottoman Empire, which was later renamed Turkey. Since that time, Armenia has had problems with Turkey. They where largely due to different religions. We are Christians. They are Muslims. Yupe, no tolerance back then.
In 1915, Turkey committed the genocide of the Armenian people. According to the official data, one and a half million Armenians were killed. According to unofficial versions, 3 million. Today many countries of the world have accepted the Armenian genocide and mourn this day.
At 1915 Armenians could cease to exist. I will not tell all the horrors of these times. I will say one main problem was that the world did not care what was happening to the Armenians. How unironically this is then stated by Hitler, who later justified the Holocaust (genocide of the Jews).
On September 27 Azerbaijan attacked a rigion under Armenian rule called Artsakh. As it turns out, this was a planned attack with the support of Turkey. At first, Turkey even denied it, but from the second day of the war, President Erdogan literally said "We support Azerbaijan in everything. We will support it both with arms and morally. We are one people, two states." in another interview, Erdogan said that "he will complete what his ancestors began." Yes, how painful it is to talk about it today we are threatened with genocide for the second time. And in the age of tolerance and technology - silence again! Right now, we are trying to fend off 2 enemies and do not know what will happen tomorrow.
It is important to say that Erdogan has already received requests to stop from Trump, Macron and Putin. But he continues to act.
And the main goal for Turkey is pan-Turkism as well.
This is superficially about our history with Turkey and what is their motivation.
So. Azerbaijan. This is a very young country. It was founded in 1920 (1918). Ethnic also came from the traveling tribes, a little later than the Turks. But the Turks and Azerbaijanis come from ethnic related tribes. Azerbaijanis are fighting for a region called Artsakh. This region is ruled by Armenia. But Azerbaijan calls this land its own. Why? The most important problem now is the misinformation that Azerbaijan is spreading both inside its country and outside. Let's figure it out.
As I said, Armenia is one of the most ancient nation. And since the first century BC, our lands included a region called Artsakh.
Translation: Artsakh, which has been a part of Armenia since the second century BC, is marked in green.
Translation: in 1918, under the influence of Turkey, the Kovk Arabs converted to Turkish Islam. In the future, they became Azerbejan.
When we founded Artsakh, Azerbaijan did not exist. Then where does the dispute come from that Artsakh belongs to them? In short, the Artsakh problem has always existed.
Artsakh was inhabited by Armenians and was always a part of Armenia. In 1915 ( genoside by Turkey) Armenia was in a cretic state. Everything was so bad that we had one goal - to survive. The only way to survive was to become part of the Soviet Union. Thus, in 1922, Armenia and Azerbaijan became part of the Soviet Union. When entering the Soviet Union, the Artsakh people asked Stalin to become part of Soviet Armenia. it was logical because, firstly, the Artsakh region always belonged to Armenia, and secondly, it was inhabited by Armenians. But the problem is that the Soviet government decided to transfer Artsakh, which was part of Armenia, to Azerbaijan without the permission of the Armenians. I think you've all heard stories about the Soviet Union and you know what it is. The Soviet Union is, strictly speaking, a dictatorship that is covered by the equality of people. When we entered the Soviet Union, the then ruler Stalin simply donated a part of Armenia which was called Artsakh and which had been part of Armenia since the second century, to Azerbaijan.
Why did this happen? As soon as they started to rule, the Bolsheviks created connections for themselves and set priorities. And between poor Armenia and oil-rich Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan has become a priority. The Artsakh region was populated by Armenians, but Stalin did not listen to discontent and simply gave a part of Armenia to Azerbaijan. In 1991, the Soviet Union collapsed. Since the dictatorship no longer existed, naturally, the people who lived in Artsakh, the Armenians, wanted to become a part of Armenia, of their homeland again. But the ruler of Azerbaijan decided to act selfishly and not do what was right. But the Armenians who lived in Artsakh raged and with the help of protests, Artsakh is now considered a region under the rule of Armenia. And it is logical right? After all, Artsakh has always been a part of Armenia since the second century, and only some left-wing Dictator came and presented our part to another state without asking anyone. Here Imagine. It's me and you. Also, tere is a third person. This third person comes and chops off your hand. He gives your hand to me and says that now it is my hand. Does it make your hand mine? No.
The Artsakh issue has been raised among modern countries. And it was officially decided that this issue should be resolved in a peaceful manner. And today Artsakh is considered a region ruled by Armenia. But on September 27, Azerbaijan struck a blow at Artsakh. This was the beginning of the war.
In the next post, I will tell you what is happening to us now. What WORLD CRIMES were committed by Azerbaijan and Turkey. And why you should care.
