It's only a month. One month since russia attacked Ukraine. One month of the biggest military offensive in Europe since World War II. 1,300 Ukrainian troops killed, at least. 977 civilians killed, at least (The actual figures are considerably much higher as data from the areas with limited or no access isn’t included i.e. at least 2,000 residents in the besieged city of Mariupol). 128 children killed, at least. 3.6 mln Ukrainian refugees. 4,431 residental buildings destroyed, at least. 1,200 missiles fired by russia. One month of ghastly and sordid war in my country. Millions of broken lives, ruined cities of poor innocent souls, rivers of children's tears, mountains of anger, avalanches of grief and seas of despair. A month of dreadful nights with a few hours of deprived sleep, shuddering at the slightest noise, constant shooting, explosions, air raid sirens sounding both in reality and in our minds . Millions of mean and pathetic little entities pretending to be human, living in a neighboring country, who have no shame, who have no faith in anything, who do not want and do not try to change anything. A whole month of courageous struggle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for our freedom, for faith, for our unity, our past and our future. A month of sleepless nights of Ukrainian volunteers successfully completing underwhelming challenges. A month of incredible spiritual uplift, mental strength and gratitude to friends and strangers. A month, when in the most terrible moments black humor, the ability to rejoice and find something real and true in life saves you. A month when a nation is reborn, united, when there is no longer a place for little people, but only for common people doing great things together and fighting each on their own front. It's an entire month closer to our victory.

My beautiful and peaceful country continues to fight the plague of the 21st century. Ukraine with the support of the entire civilised world is fighting the main global evil - in the form of russia.

Every day I hear about murders of the people I know: translators, photojournalists, educators.... Whole cities are being destroyed, mayors of cities kidnapped and murdered, children, pregnant women, elderly people killed. But there are no doubts, only a strong belief in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in our people, in the good, in our victory.

Every fire will be extinguished sooner or later. In a country where everyone is a firefighter and is ready to run with buckets of water, even children, the fire will definitely be extinguished.

2022年2月以降、捕虜から遺体として戻ってきたウクライナ人は184人にのぼります。184という数字をよく考えてみてください。これは国際人道法に対する重大な違反です。それでロシアは処罰を受けたのでしょうか。いいえ。捕虜を守るはずだったジュネーヴ条約は、ウクライナにとってはむしろ罠となっています。無罪推定の原則によって、証拠調査なしにロシアを捕虜殺害で非難することはできません。しかしロシアは、その調査を拒否し続けています。 同じことは、オレニフカのロシアの刑務所コロニーで起きた爆発についても言えます。この爆発で、少なくとも50人のウクライナ人捕虜が死亡しました。後に交換されて帰還した生存者たちは、これはロシアによるテロ行為だったと証言しています。一方のロシアは、ウクライナのミサイル攻撃だと主張しています。しかし国連は写真や映像、目撃者の証言を分析し、ミサイル攻撃ではなかったと結論づけました。 それでもロシアは処罰を受けていません。 ロシアの捕虜となることは死を意味する。 しかしロシアは処罰されない。 ロシアは人を殺す。 しかしロシアは処罰されない。 ロシアは殺す。 タバコの警告ラベルのように、この文言をあらゆるロシア製品に貼るべきです。ロシアの文化イベントやアーティストのコンサートのポスター、ロシア料理店の入口、ロシア大使館の壁にも貼るべきでしょう。
