Stormy and Rainy! (They named each other)
A little backstory; These two Spinels were made before Canon Spinel! Blue and Yellow were trying to make the perfect friend for Pink, and messed up twice. Rainy was made first, and while she had a nice and fun personality, her cut was imperfect and her colors from Pink, Blue, and Yellow’s essence didn’t mix properly. She was scrapped and never assigned a best friend.
Stormy was made when White Diamond said her perfect essence would make the right Spinel, but she took juuust a bit of Blue’s essence in order to give her a little emotion. It sort of backfired though, and instead she was a cold, aloof, stoic gem. She has a nice cut, but her personality came out totally wrong. She has no want for a best friend, and friendly is the last word used to describe her.
The Diamonds finally just decided to take a shot using only Pink’s essence, and then came Canon Spinel! These two were sent off to be dealt with, shattered, or at the very least bubbled, for not fitting into their roles perfectly. But Stormy kicked some guard-ass and escaped in a mini fleet ship, unable to leave Rainy behind due to having a small soft spot for her.
They went rogue and travel together wherever they land, visiting different planets and needing no one but each other <3

GW1's stormbow holds a special place in my heart, but GW2's stormbow is so pretty and it's almost exactly what I expected it to look like
