Txokepu's Outfits (She/It)
Spoilers for Avatar Fire and Ash in here, for her last few photos
This is her base appearance. It has restraint scars on her wrists, ankles, and neck from being restrained as a child and teenager. It also has shock stick scars on her left shoulder and hip, which contributed to its intense fear and hatred of them. The tattoo is a direct reference to the Hunter thanator unit in AFoP (Hunter Bravo, Hunter Echos, etc.)
She normally wraps the restraint scars with bandages, specialized ankle/foot wraps, and the one on its neck is covered by a shock/comm collar that's never been fully used. The foot wraps slide on like open-toed shoes or like socks, and have a kind of sole on the bottom that makes them last longer. Made of natural materials, she slides it on and wraps it around its ankle to her liking. It's also really good at swimming and has incredible vocal mimicry.
This is her "Feral Experiment Orion Zero" uniform. It doesn't wear shirts because of her four arms, so it either makes them herself later, or just wears a poncho. Usually it's the latter.
"Bridgehead Night Hunter" uniform. Basically glorified edge/border security to keep wildlife out until the city walls were done.
This is after it gets put with Deja Blu! After their failure to kill Jake Sully, she's put here to fix it, since it is literally THE Na'vi hunter. She also got piercings!
OLD MANGKWAN PAINT DESIGN I may still keep smth like this tho... dunno yet.
It goes with Quaritch after the fight with the Mangkwan after the Tlalìm were attacked, and she goes with him to the Mangkwan camp. It is immediately respected and revered after the fight she put up with them prior. It doesn't really like the disconnect from Ewya, or the strange fire dances - though the fire is really pretty - but... she feels like this is where it belongs. With all the other outcasts Eywa and the Na'vi didn't want. Where she would be valued. Maybe even loved. Here it feels... safe.
Her paint is applied by both Txokepu and the Mangkwan assigned to it (mostly by their choice). The self-assigned Mngkwan have sliced their mouths similarly to hers and wear heavy jewelry to drag the upper half of their cheeks down to mimic its facial flaps. She is idolized by many, as they view it as "Eywa's Forgotten", a cursed abomination fallen from the Great Pretender, and their dark future's rise. The ideal example of abandoning Eywa.
She rides a giant feral stormglider (as I've mentioned in her og post) named Neyuk - "Pale Shadow". The creature is larger in wingspan and length than the Great Leonopteryx, though she weighs less, as those are the traits of her species. She is abnormally large due to steroids and growth treatments as a young specimen in the labs. Txokepu and Neyuk are ordered, in the final battle, to attack TorukMakto and separate him from Toruk, and if necessary...
The Mangkwan, specifically Varang and her avatar mate and Olo'eykte, Tessa (another oc of mine), make her a war headdress, and her assigned cult-within-the-cult helped paint Neyuk, when Kepu and Quaritch are with them for those few days/weeks. It outlined her operculi in red paint to make them more pronounced, and look almost like eyes. The headdress is made to be reminiscent of Varang's headdress (her idea, surprisingly), and marks Kepu as their future.
The Mangkwan pierced her body, and were abnormally savage about the process, causing what many would consider immense pain. However, she brushes it off as if the pain were nothing, even allowing them to pierce its neural sheaths, which are still sensitive,, though not the neural queue itself. She is a creature beyond Eywa to the Mangkwan, and they nearly worship it. She is treated with reverence and respect, equal to Varang and Tessa, and more than what they give to Quaritch. They hail it as the sign that Eywa's end is near.
