Since my last Kaladin Dalinar post ive fallen into a wormhole

I’ve now read (almost) every Kaladin/Dalinar, Kaladin/Teft, Dalinar/Teft, and Kaladin/Dalinar/Teft fics on Ao3,,,

All I must say is that there is no where near enough comfort/actual romance for these poor canonically fucked up characters, yeah yeah let them fuck but I want Teft being so gentle and sweet my teeth could fall out!! Let Dalinar be lovey ahhhhhh. Let Kaladin be LOVED, that man is sad and an orgasm can’t fix everything tbh

My very very guilty pleasure in fanfics is the nightmare trope and hurt/comfort. Like person A wakes up from a nightmare and person B comforts them back to sleep. I know it’s basic but MMM it’s SO GOOD. (Don’t try to read in on my mental state and why I yearn for angst and comfort that’s for a therapist to discover not me) There is SO MUCH potential in these pairings for this like let any of them have a nightmare I’m not even picky anymore. Imagine Dalinar waking from an awful Evi dream or something sad and fucked up and Kaladin holding him AUGH

And sure I could write my own fics and although I haven’t written in years I still might but some of y’all write so well sigh.

Wondrous Item, very rare

“This armlet is carved from a metal that is perpetually warm to the touch. Like a bolt of lightning, it glows slightly and has jagged edges, often pressing hard into the skin but never enough to draw blood.”

Whenever you deal lightning damage, you can use your bonus reaction to cause the lightning to arc off your target and hit another creature within 10 feet of it causing lightning damage equal to your Intelligence or Wisdom modifier (whichever is higher, and a minimum of 1). The lightning continues to arc to additional targets in a 10 foot range, but cannot hit one target more than once.

Stormchaser. When a creature takes lightning damage from the use of this magic weapon, you can use your reaction to teleport along with the lightning and appear in an unoccupied square somewhere along the path that the arcing lightning took. Once you use this property you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

Mossrunner is considerate. He’s thoughtful and is a “fence-sitter” for interclan matters. If there is an argument, he tends to go to both sides before ultimately making a choice. Mossrunner takes after his ThunderDad Thornclaw for his love of patrolling the territory and especially hunting. His name comes from Mosspelt (courtesy of Stormfur) and the fact he has long legs that, as he says, “are just made to patrol!”. He is also trans.
