The Deltarune fandom is so weird about not wanting Ralsei to be a main character, or even a character PERIOD if they can help it. Like in a way I don't think I've ever seen a fandom treat a character before..?
Chapter 1 comes out: Fandom claims Ralsei is either Asriel in disguise or actually evil and not actually a real member of the party and will get replaced by Lancer.
Chapter 2 comes out: The Fandom's Ralsei is Asriel theories have gotten more complex, theories start to crop up that Noelle will take Ralsei's place in the party.
Chapters 3-4: Ralsei has several important scenes focusing on the topic of identity and self worth... Somehow we end up with theories that Ralsei is Asgore, and Noelle replacement permanent party member theories get stronger.
It's so strange. Kris, who people used to think was a player surrogate, has been accepted as their own character with their own interests and personality and desires and all before RALSEI has.
