I'm going to honest, I love the idea of Electric Judgement (Jedi Force Lightning) but not as an originally Jedi technique, but as a modified version of a Baran Do technique. Baran Do in both canon and legends are associated with storms and lightning, with Legends even having techniques related to electromagnetic radiation and hiding brain activity.
SDTCI Electric Judgement, in it's rawest form, is a literal lightning bolt, one that uses the Force to create electrically charged regions. The Jedi variation of the technique essentially uses Dark and Light as those areas of extreme charge, and in effect acts like a droid disruptor, or the Force ability Ionize, shorting out parts of the target's body, acting as a paralytic or stunning blast rather than a hate fueled torture tool like Sith Lightning.
Luke learns the technique while searching for Jedi knowledge after Endor, learns about Plo Koon who studied with the Baran Do Monks (Where he learned Electric Judgement) and it helps overcome a lot of psychological trauma concerning Force Lightning and certain cackling Sith Lords. He later sends Streen to study with the monks to refine his weather control abilities, and Streen comes back able to use Electric Judgement, Baran Do Lightning, and call lightning from storms.

Without looking at the tags, who can name them all?

Had the Jedi Academy trilogy come out after the prequels, I feel like Streen would have been an Iktotchi
For those who haven’t read the book or need a reminder, Streen was found by Luke after he’d isolated himself from galactic civilisation due to his enhanced Force perceptions causing sensory overload, with him agreeing to come with Luke largely to alleviate the pain. Now, Iktotchi are mentioned to have natural precognitive/telepathic abilities that aren’t related to the Force, with Force-sensitive Iktotchi such as Saesee Tiin experiencing a similar sort of sensory overloads due to their Force senses. This makes me wonder if, had the Iktotchi species been an established part of canon when the Jedi Academy books were released, maybe Streen would have belonged to that species instead of being human? Or maybe this is just me projecting my wish that more of Luke’s New Jedi Order had been non-humans.
