Breeding strills is a very serious matter. They’re not like dogs, who live a decade plus. No—their lifespans are three or four times an average human’s even with Star Wars medicine. Even individual strills are heirlooms that are passed from one generation of people to the next. Strill blood lines? Priceless. The work of millennia.

(My OG strill'e, from Star Wars - art inspired by @arliganzey and @howdidthisevenhappenanyway strill'e breed post - with two new additions! The Wooly Komondor and the Search, Rescue, and Retrieval Strill'e breeds! Now I get silly with it)
The Wooly Komondor is a staple of cold climate Mando planets like Krowsnest. Their unique thick fur can be harvested to weave rough but incredibly warm blankets. They are known to have a very deep, rumbling bark. Not recommended for hotter planets, but a few are owned on Coruscanta by the wealthy aruetiise. The author blames Kyr'tsad for this.
The newest established strill'e breed, the Search, Rescue, and Retrieval strill (also known as SRR) is the most canid of the strill'e in the galaxy. Their higher necks and lower amount of wrinkles may lead you to think that the aren't even strill'e, but rest assured that they are! Highly intelligent and determined, the SRR has been bred to rescue in urban environments and carry the injured to safety. Their gliding membrane is smaller, but their muscled bodies launch them just as far as other strill'e. Kandosii here is partnered with a Mando Baarur employed on Coruscanta as a member of a Search and Rescue unit!

Hey guys, I just wanted to say sorry for being inactive here. I’ve been super active on sideblogs and well, this one got pushed to the side. I’m kinda moving on from old fandoms and into new ones so until that’s storted out I’ll be less active here anyways. And I’m not gonna be active at all until 28th of this month so.. again sorry.
A mythasaur (mythosaur?) and strill.
There’s not a ton of references for either so I kinda just took the basics and went from there
Miscellaneous beings, I introduce you to the Striil off all my Star Wars fics. They are designed to be somewhat similar to dogs, yet give you a somewhat uncanny feeling. They are all six legged, can all fly, and all smell like dog.
The text and Striil types are as follow;
Top left - War Striil. Heavy set, short glide, big bite.
Second left - Running Striil. Fast and small, short hair, light weight, hard turner.
Second right - Vhetter (farming) Striil. Versatile, good companion.
Top right - Hairless Striil. Gentlest, excellent glider, can't stand extreme temperature.
Think of the closest dogs breeds to those characteristics, and you’re probably on the money for the inspiration. What other animals did I use to make them, I wonder...
