Your bullet journal is so cool! I don’t really know much about bullet journals. Do you mind if I ask how it works?
Bullet journals are basically an advanced planner you adapt to your own needs. There are many versions of the bullet journal because many of them make it their own. You can use it as an agenda, to do-list, mood/symptom tracker... basically you put in what you want and that’s the beauty of it. The basic and original bullet journal idea is really simple and straightforward. It is basically a system to plan and track tasks as simple as possible and it really does work. I now use the original bullet journal method at work, just to keep track of the tasks I’m doing. There is no elaborate lay-outs just the date and my planned tasks. Their website explains it really well in a short time so it’s really worth checking out. Even if you want to approach it differently, this is the core of bujoing so it’s a good place to start.
For my free time I use my bullet journal as an agenda really. I have a short overview per month so I can keep track of future plans and then I’ll continue working throughout the year to design themes per week/month. I also have a tracker for finances, my favourite songs ... some people have mood trackers etc. It’s really something to make your own. You start from scratch and you have a blank notebook you can fill in with whatever you want. I’ve always liked drawing but I’m not really a great artist so this is the way for me to explore a little more at my own time and not put too much pressure on myself.
I have a bullet journal instagram and I posted a lot of my set-up for 2021 so you can check it out if you’re interested.
There are also a LOT of bullet journal set up videos on youtube so if you ever want to start just browse youtube for a while and you’ll find a lot of information about methods being used and how to best set up your own. (You also learn from doing, I approached it completely different from last year to now).
Bujo instagram is also one of the most wholesome communities. Everyone is super friendly and supportive so I can absolutely recommend!

I have been asking around on how to take care of my variegated Sting of Hearts and most of all; how to maintain its variegation in future growth. But one of the wise plant people reminded me about the fact that variegation in plants like the Ceropegia Woodii, still is a genetic ‘mistake’ that can not really be controlled. I got the advice to simply give the plant its best growing conditions; lots of indirect light and an occasional watering from below, making sure never to soak the soil. If the variegation is absent in new growth, I can cut off the string above one of the last variegated leaves and hopefully any regrown leaves will be variegated. The strings that are cut off, can be used for propagation so these will be loved individually ♡.

That’s right, another year older today. Welcoming Chapter 38 and hoping it surpasses Chapter 37 (it was a rough read 😂)Starting out 38 embracing this string of hearts plants (one of my favs), in hopes that this chapter is full of love and goodness. #booksandplants #booksandplantsandbirthdays #itsmybirthday #houseplantsandchill #twerkformeitsmybirthday #stringofhearts https://www.instagram.com/p/B8jPdjcJcokDH7G76bzbJcOe0c639F89oXazC40/?igshid=ekxv5a7emd5w
