Breeding is not an excuse for tiny enclosures

If you are breeding animals and you cannot provide them with complete care from day 1 then you should not be breeding animals.

Saying "I breed them, and there isnt enough space for climbing opportunities and all the snakes" then you should have less snakes.

Quality of care over quantity.

An animal does not deserve less because of your selfish desire to make more of them.

And no, enrichment isnt necessary for survival. Climbing isnt necessary for survival. But your animal is not thriving if you are not providing enough space to offer multiple options for natural behaviors and microclimates.

There are no excuses for minimalistic keeping! It only benefits the keeper, not the animal!!!!

At the sight of discomfort we want out. The slightest bit of pain we want to flee. But how can you be successful being comfortable all your life? How can you attain success without experience in life? Without knowledge of how life works? How will you advise without having gone through things? You can’t. So when you feel discomfort. It’s hard. Oh you want to run away. But push through it. Get yourself through it. That is the hardest work. To get yourself to do what you have to do and not necessarily what you want to do in that minute. But at the end of it. You’ll realise. Every second was worth it.
