Good turn out for the student gallery night I took part in hosting at the Levinsky Gallery. The workshop was influenced by The Unknown Knowns exhibition and included experimental and playful use of film in small groups, film screenings, and a quiz to end the evening.
Drawn-on-film animation, also known as direct animation or animation without camera, is a technique where footage is produced by creating the images directly on film stock, as opposed to any other form of animation where the images or objects are photographed frame by frame with an animation camera.
