“Do you want to know who had the nerve to be my substitute for AP History today?” Stiles says as he plops down in the seat next to Scott at their usual cafeteria table.

“Uh sure?” Scott says, after he swallows his mouthful of food, innocently curious at Stiles’s question.

“Derek freakin’ Hale. Derek! He was my sub. Since when is he a substitute teacher?!” Stiles throws his hands up like the world is falling apart around them because of this news.

And maybe it is. At least Stiles's world anyway.

When Stiles signed up for Dr. Hale’s intro to history class, he had two goals: knock out the credits his advisor was bugging him to complete before he graduated, and spend a few hours a week daydreaming about his sexy professor’s salt and pepper beard. My favorite series is How to Date Your Best Friend’s Brother -- Derek and Scott are brothers, and Stiles slowly gets to know and become more his best friend’s brother.

The first story I read was Loan Wolves, where Stiles lets Peter have him to pay for his dad’s medical debt. Dubious consent, obviously.

Getting Schooled is a hot teacher/student Steter story.

soft breath, beating heart is based off when Peter gets Stiles to open Scott’s computer in season one, but he actually persuades him with (dubious consent) some sexy times.

Head Games is really hot, with Peter driving Stiles crazy with sexual innuendos.

He makes some cash, he’s good at what he does (especially when he gets to be a little more explicit in his letters), it pays for his textbooks and that’s all he’s really looking for and life is fine. That is, until someone anonymously commissions him to write a love letter to mathematics student, Derek Hale.

Moose Notes: It has its cheesy moments, but it also has hidden depths. And not even letters can stifle Stiles’ temper and sarcasm, or Derek’s wariness and dry humor. If pining, college/uni AUs, and/or glimpses into future Sterek are your jam, this fic is good for those. To the author’s credit, it’s hard to do the You’ve-Got-Mail letter thing without being cliched or sentimentalist, but they totally pull it off. Stiles POV.

“I do,” she answers, a slight deviation. She leans even closer and Stiles can feel her body heat and smell her shampoo. Her hand lands on his chest. “Do you?”

“Absolutely…” His breath catches in his throat when she kisses his neck. “So uh, you also like guys, I guess.”

“Yeah. Do you?” She pulls away to smirk up at him, lips shining and the fluorescent pink hearts rising on her cheeks as she grins.

Huh.

Moose Notes: Stiles goes to college, his bisexual lightbulb goes off, and he and Derek talk about it. Extensively. Formatting-wise, be prepared for the text messages to be presented in quotation marks instead of italics--unusual, but consistent. Pretty fluffy, with some sexy bits as well. Switch POV.
