Finalized Schedule for the New Semester
It took a bit, but I think I finally managed to finalize my schedule and take classes that I will not only enjoy, but will help me graduate on time.
I decided to drop my finance class - it was a general education requirement for me, but the course load seemed a bit heavy for a level 100 class. Also, I found it ironic that the professor was preaching about the importance of saving money and then required us to purchase a new $220 textbook with an access code and an $85 financial calculator (one that I truly would only be using for 5 months).
I auditioned for Chamber Singers -- a closed, audition-only chorus on campus and got in.
I’m taking two online courses: Psychology and the Law and Theories of Motivation for Psychology.
I’m taking a hybrid course: Intro to Criminal Justice
and i’m taking a biology course with a lab.
I feel really good about this semester. I know I have a lot of work to do and I need to change some of my study habits that may have worked before but with so much work that needs to be completed online, those habits may not be beneficial to me this semester.
I’ll try my best to post as frequently as I can, but for now, expect a post or two every week. I’ll add some reblogs to my queue.
As always, send me any questions and submit posts whenever you want. I track the tag #studyingstuffwithem.
