Day 5: Why did you choose your major/what you study?

because animal biology = love, and frankly i'm loving every bit of it! it's definitely not easy, not just memorization. mol bio portions take a lot of patience, but it all just makes sense yk. plus the practicals are amazing, hence i chose this major!

what i did today + the past couple of days

preped for a test on lysosomes

attended tuitions

gave a test on ms excel course

watched envs video lecture

online classes to brush up on basic maths and english

day 12 of my autumn studying challenge!:

• do you have any studying methods you use? if so, share them with us (please *sobs*)!

writing is the only method i know :(. i can remember if i write what i’m learning and it also helps to read it out loud as if giving lecture. and that’s it *sobs again*.

-> today i just revisited some notes before my mid-term and let me tell you this: i rocked it ehehehe! then i treated myself with a filter coffee with millk before the next class :].

October 29, 2022 - Saturday | Fall challenges 19/30 + 15/30

I wrote + compiled final exams today for 2 of my classes and it took me way too long… I feel like most of my time was spent formatting the exam rather than on the actual content lmao. Later I went for a brief walk and found some flowers that someone was still growing despite the fact we’re going into November soon (!!)

What can you de-clutter physically or emotionally to find more ease and simplicity honestly i need to get rid of all the cardboard boxes and packing material I have ‘in case I need it later’ personally it’s difficult for me to throw out things that even have a little bit of use. Emotionally I'm also a hoarder lol but honestly these days I’m less cluttered emotionally that I was in the past. Appreciating people when they make me happy and letting people know when they make me sad has given me such a lightness. The simple question of 'how will they know if I don't tell them?' and voila~ no more baggage. Even if they don't listen to what I say, at least I know that I did what I could.

How was your day today was a mixed bag lol there was everything: productivity, wasting time, going on a walk 👍 then not feeling well and coming back early 👎 then thankfully I was blessed with sleep so I couldn’t spend too much time thinking abt it and feeling sad 😌✨when I woke up I did some reading and writing so all in all 7/10 day actually

DAMN I got busy sdlfkj. Life, halloween, and alien stage took be over for a little bit </3 But I'm back

Significant progress on methodology for neurobio presentation! Maybe finished?

Finished all my trainings

Cleaned my room!

Mostly finished my post-lab

But for tomorrow:

Complete post-lab

Study 1 hour for my chem midterm

Make 30 minutes of progress on my neurobio presentation

Read a research paper and summarize it

Day 17: What is your favorite thing about having a studyblr blog?

to share my educational journey with anyone who's interested and inspired them to create their own Studyblr also it's like you're own little study journal/archive

I guess one productive day and I'm out for the rest of the week. Monday was great for productivity and then yesterday was so bad that I ended up not being able to sleep because I was so anxious about getting my school work done. I didn't get it done not because I was busy but because I was unmotivated and procrastinating. I tried to do better today but I really didn't. Tomorrow is going to take some serious self control.

I read something this week about changing your thought process from "I have to do" to "I get to do" I need to keep in mind that what I'm studying and the clubs I'm a part of I get to do them and I should be thankful for the opportunity. Especially since I love what I'm studying and I really enjoy the clubs I've decided to join. This weekend is going to be busy and I'm not going to be able to catch up on work like I'm used to doing which means I need to get the work done now.

Autumn studying challenge day 2: Share your goals for this challenge. What do you want to accomplish by the end of it?

I'm hoping to connect with others on here also doing the challenge! I think social motivation is the best kind of motivation and having others cheer you on as you cheer on them motivates me constantly. By the end of this challenge I hope have made new connections as well as strengthened connections already made :)

i'm the kind of person who studies sitting down for hours with little breaks, so idk how useful my advice will be. the main points of my study system are:

stay at the library if you are desperate/need to finish quickly

forest app in intervals of at least one hour and a half.

lots of coffee/energy drinks

headphones off but covering your ears

go through your class notes, do every exercise/annotate in the material given by the professor the things you wrote down in class. this is the most important thing but it requires that you really pay attention in class everyday.

extra exercises after, for as long as you can.

failing an exam is not a big deal, focus in doing as much as you can without worrying if it will be enough, if it isn't the knowledge you gained will make it easier to pass the class later.

my nuclei and particle class notes, we started feynman structures this week. also I've decided to do caramelcuppaccino's autumn studying challenge :) I'm gonna do it every other day (2 questions each post) though because I dont have the time to post everyday~

day 1: whats my major? astrophysics!

day 2: goals for this challenge? I want to be more active on this acc as well as just having fun being motivated by other studyblrs to get my work finished more quickly. my aesthetic is not the typical minimalistic one, much more cluttered and cozy so I want to show that through my posts
