Stuff that's portrayed as alright in media, but I would hate if it happened to me irl
Some of it is stuff I like watching, some is stuff I don't.
Don't get me wrong, I love stories with people secretly dating when they're done good, but I wouldn't be able to deal with that. It just seems stressful to have to constantly be on the lookout just to kiss my partner.
Introvert gets practically shoved out of their comfort zone
I absolutely HATE it when an introverted character just wants to stay inside and chill, but their friend drags them out to do whatever. And the introvert is often seen as the bad guy for not wanting to go out. I personally like staying inside over going out most of the time, and if my friend tried to force me out to 'have fun', I would be pissed the fuck off.
Couples who literally hate each other
"Oh, fighting is normal for every couple!" Wrong. Disagreements are normal for every couple. If you're fighting on a daily basis over dumb shit, maybe break up.
Alt people becoming 'normal' after a makeover
I'm not trying to say that you can't change styles, but as a goth teen, it gets me so mad when alternative fashion is portrayed as just a phase, or whatever. I'd hate getting a 'makeover' that was just taking away a part of me that I love.
Having that one overly aggressive friend/co-worker/etc.
Working with Rosa Diaz (Brooklyn 99) would actually drive me insane. Idc how good of a cop she is, she should've been fired ages ago with all the damage to company property she does. Same with Jade West (Victorious), I genuinely don't know why Tori hangs out with her, and why she wasn't punished for pretending Tori hit her and turning everyone against her.
Threatening your daughter's boyfriend
I'm into girls, but if I brought a guy home and my dad was all like "Now listen here sonny, I know how to shoot a gun, and I'll fucking do it I swear to god", I would actually die. It's just weird and embarrassing, I don't know why some people think it's okay. Sure, if a dude is being creepy towards your kid, go crazy, but if it's literally just their partner, stop.
Kissing someone who's in the middle of a sentence
Character A is normally like "I'm so sorry for what I did, I shouldn't've done that, it was super messed up, and I'll do anything for you to forgive me even though I know you probably won't, but-" and then Character B kisses them. I would've been like "Excuse me bitch??" but idk. I just hate being interrupted.
If you're into it, that's cool, but I can hardly bake cakes with my sister without getting pissed over shit every two seconds. If I was cooking with my partner, I'd be thinking "Bro MOVE".
Like, showers aren't big. I wouldn't be able to reach my shampoo/shower gel/etc. It sounds terrible.
There's more, but I'm tired.
