01/01-08/16

01: rolled in bed until 11 am, daniel and hillary asked me if i wanted to make breakfast with them but momma lee was already making me congee so i declined, after i ate breakfast, i spent my entire day working on my website with pbs kids playing in the background, it was so tedious getting all the right pictures and describing everything but it was also helpful and made me realize how much i do enjoy making but not as much as how much i love design research, still on the edge of whether to continue venture or not but we’ll see, ate dinner, did blogilates at like 10 pm so when i tried going to sleep early at 12 am it didn’t work very well, got to talk with kevin for the last hour or so at 2 am <333 (thank you for trying to get me to sleep -- it worked too!), went to sleep when he did at 3 am! this year was just so hectic that i can’t reflect on it just yet. @_@ but i feel like i’ve gotten a fresh burst of energy and i’ve finished everything i planned to do over the break in only 2 days LOL (besides applying for jobs...)

02: woke up at 9:40 am, ate breakfast, got to work super early, printed out shipping labels because my printer was still at the apartment, i sold some toys on ebay already :D, the day was pretty busy, worked with claire <33, lots of schedule changes but now i’m only working weekends at rotofugi for the most part, bought one sketracha dunny and got the regular one =.=, pulled 4 from the back when someone asked about it and got a chase for her!!!, she got another one hoping to get the regular one and got another chase?! so then i traded with her, decided to get another one to get a regular one and opened a chase LOOLOLOL what even!, switched the display and got my 2 sketrachas now :>>>, ordered pockets with claire, ate lunch early yet again but the day went by so fast, did the restock, closed up shop, momma lee drove us home, i ate my salad on the way home, daniel asked me to hang out so that he could give me his christmas gift :O, did blogilates, showered, and daniel and bae picked me up, went to daniel’s house and he surprised me with amaretto! :P, drank a bit but i really shouldn’t have, alcohol affects my stomach so badly, hillary was either drunk or just playin’ a fool but it was funny, daniel drove me home, i went to sleep at like 1 am? i don’t know anymore.

03: woke up at 9:30 am, got ready to move out FINALLY, went to the apartment with my dad, had to make 2 trips and it was the most blood-boiling 3 hours spent with him ever, i was so angry after moving everything and just the situation in general, yeah it’s my dad and also just my apartment situation which is total dfkjdnfjskf (i’ve talked to others about it and they also think it’s very unfair what happened), well i’m moved out now, was too tired to move anything in my room besides my table and chair, still need to do a lot of organizing, showered, drank my mom’s chicken soup, packed to go to kevin’s for the week and leave this mess LOL (i’ll clean it when i’m not super angry/pissed), momma lee drove me to kevin’s, brought fabric softener to kevin’s so my clothes can be soft again~, talked with kevin about pokemon and his progress in emerald/fire red :P he’s a bragger, updated my tumblr for a bit, went to jewel’s together, got groceries for katsu pork, salad, and tacos for the first part of the week, i love these grocery runs i take with him because i get to talk with him and relax and yeah :) it makes me really happy, we got back and chilled for a bit while mike cooked for a sleepy lynn, kevin started on the pork while i prepped the salad and washed dishes and baked the bread, it was so yummy, i gave it a 5/5 when kevin asked me :P, he gives it a 4/5 haha, i washed dishes and mike kept calling me an ‘ah yee’ ahhaha, then i tried listening to kevin’s lecture on the computer but i kept distracting him :P, he drank this bitter tea and poisoned me with his kisses (omggg so bitter T____T), we made the bed, he got rid of the bitter af taste in his mouth and shaved his stubble haha, he went back to work, i laid in the bed for a bit and then updated my tumblr fully, actually did blogilates, showered, watched fairly odd parents while kevin played dota, went to sleep past 1 am.

04: got up after kevin left for class, debated whether to eat breakfast or do pilates, did pilates, showered, kevin came back, i started laundry, printed out shipping labels for some of the toys i sold, ate leftover salad with kevin, headed out at 1:10 pm to meet up with kathy and run some errands, it was pretty cold outside ><, fell asleep on the red line, went to the venture studio room to pick up my materials, went to target and got baking and melting chocolate, went to ups and shipped my things, met up with kathy at russian tea time, we decided on savory tea sandwiches, white peony tea, and chocolate lava cake for dessert, it was really nice catching up with kathy and just sorting things out with her advice, mmm i think we’re both going to continue on with venture but keeping in mind that we should put ourselves first so we don’t stress out and get super sick, i’m happy i got to get tea with this girl :>>>>, she went back to her apartment after, i went to flaxman and looked up books i could check out, i left with catch 22, kafka on the shore, and brave new world, i started reading kafka in the library and then tried to read on the train but eventually got super dizzy so i tried going to sleep but didn’t, i just closed my eyes until i got back to evanston, got back to kevin’s apartment and then made taco/burritos with him for dinner, read some more after washing the dishes, norman and michelle came over, kevin played banangrams with norman, then everyone took turns playing the zombie call of duty game with mike, then nluu taught us to play the vietnamese card game (i forgot the name), then kevin taught us to play a super complicated card game that i was not a huge fan of, it was super confusing and i didn’t understand the rules at all but we needed 4 players to play so i just continued playing even though i really did not want to, after norman and kevin won, i just folded laundry and put everything away, updated tumblr, fumed a bit, couldn’t really read because i felt such dull upset/anger, was thinking of sleeping on the couch LOL, watched an episode of ‘fairly odd parents’ there, dozed off listening to music, kevin got me to sleep in the room after forcing me to talk to him D:<, sigh i’m so stupid, talked a bit more in bed, glad i could listen to his problems for a bit, went to sleep not angry (thank you for caring about me enough to try to fix the problem for future things like this, kevin).

05: stayed in bed until 10:30 am watching youtube videos, kevin left for his meeting a bit late? i think he rushed out, did pilates, showered, washed all the dishes, i’ve been washing and cleaning things lately because i enjoy doing it and there’s nothing much on my to-do list; it’s nice (:, ate lunch with kevin before he went to class, curled up on the sofa with a blanket and a cup of tea and read for the rest of the evening, listened to schubert while listening because it was mentioned in the book, made chicken noodle soup for dinner when kevin came back, we ate a good amount of the roasted chicken before cooking though (we were so hungry!), added all the herbs to it haha, ate that with a side salad while watching an episode of supernatural (i think we’ve lost our streak and urge to watch now :P), kevin went to work/dota, i continued reading for the rest of the night, i moved to the bed to read, i got really tired when i had 70-100 pages left so i rq’d and got ready for bed, i think i went to sleep at 12 or 1 am, i read all day and it was so worth.

06: woke up at 7:15 am, showered, it was such a struggle waking up, packed and left the apartment to take the train to vivian’s house, i was gonna uber or lyft but it would cost $30-40 LOL, ofc i fell asleep on the train, i think a guy moved to another seat cos i kept bobbing my head lolol, vivian picked me up at the 35th/archer stop and we went to jewel’s to get the restie some soda pop, got back to her house and greeted teh momma lei, ate zong zi for breakfast, talked for a bit, put on monster’s university in the background, recorded my new kickstarter video, made chocolate in the process, the chocolate i got from target was very nice and melted so smoothly, waited for the chocolate to set so we watched some of the movie, finished recording, finished the movie, decided to go to artopolis to eat but there wasn’t any parking ):, decided to go to cafe orient 33 because why not and it’s my fave (thank you for driving us there, lo gong!), got kimchi jigae, vivian got her bibimbap haha, it was so yummy, i’m so happy i got to spend time with this girl <3333 i’ve missed her so much, we talked talked talked and talked and joked around, we got a tofu mango pineapple smoothie and vivian said it tasted like pina colada, i didn’t finish my food so i got more rice so that kevin could try some when i got back (shout out to the cashier that didn’t charge me for the extra rice <3), vivian drove me to the 93 bus stop and then i hugged and kissed her cheek bye hehe, waited for the bus for only 10 minutes, dozed off during the ride, went straight to barnes and noble because kevin was still in class, read some kafka on the shore, went to cvs and got gummies for free thanks to muh coupons, fed kevin the food when i got back :3, he really liked it! now we have to go to cafe orient 33 together!, finished reading kafka on the shore and i am still soooo confused, tried to read brave new world but the first chapter was such a style shift from murakami’s so i rq’d, was too tired to work out, spent the rest of the evening sorting the pictures and recordings, watched some youtube videos, ‘fairly odd parents’, did my ab challenge thing, curled up in the bed with my computer, went to sleep at some time, probs 12 or 1 am.

07: stayed in bed until 11 am, i think when i wake up revolves around when kevin goes to school as of now LOL but in two weeks i will be waking up way earlier than he does T__T crai, so i got up and did pilates, showered, ate my honey-nut chex at 12 pm, looked at everything that would make me want to procrastinate before i started working on my kickstarter video, had to do some voice-overs but there was this loud af dog barking outside so i had to find a space in the apartment that was mostly silent, recorded, made a list for myself so i don’t get off track, did photo editing first, then the story description, then the rewards, then i finally got around to uploading and editing the video itself, i had to go back and forth on a few things but i didn’t mind; i wasn’t stressed like last time so it was kinda fun making the video this time around, it took me about the entire day to finish (like i thought it would), kevin gave me my christmas present and i was so confused because he got me a music box shaped as a piano so i thought he got me a mini piano LOL, he got me a customized music box that plays the howl’s moving castle theme song (thank you, bf <33333), stopped editing to run and catch the metra to go to umami burger with kevin, he literally rushed me out of the apartment and we got there just in time, the metra is so interesting; seems very old school but also not as old school as the pullman train thing that i’ve been wanting to go on, it reminded me of the train we took to see toby in california but the one in california was much more modern and a mixture of metra and greyhound, we got off clybourn and walked all the way to umami, we stopped for a bit to do a move from the jive and ended up looking super dumb but we figured out the move :D, we got the truffle fries, i got the sunny side, and kevin got the manly burger, their sauces were pretty good, the fries were aiight, i think the cheese was too distinct in flavor, i liked my burger, tbh i think umami is my favorite burger place because i don’t really like burgers hmmm, the manly burger was super heavy, i think mine was just right, we ended our meal with a snickerdoodle salted caramel ice cream sandwich, twas buttery and cold but probably would not eat it again, we uber pooled back this time and there was another passenger and the car smelled a bit weird, i got nauseous early on, i looked up byob painting classes for kevin and i to go to when i get my weekends back/when the semester starts, we got back and i continued working on my video, took forever to make a gif and ditched the idea after, finally finally finished and sent both old and new links to pablo and sharon, i am ready to launch sunday night so watch out!, vivian and her mom liked the video (:, it was like 10 or 11 pm when i finished so then i tidied up a few things for my internship this semester, updated my budget sheet, played with the music box, killed time on the interwebs, watched an episode of ‘fairly odd parents’ before sleeping at some time zzzz.

08: i woke up and asked kevin if belly buttons were dimples and went back to sleep after he left for class LOL, planned on not working out because i couldn’t sleep well last night (my body felt super sore everywhere and i kept tossing and turning), stayed in bed until 10:30 am, got ready for the day, made myself some hot water, updated my tumblr, ate leftover lunch with kevin, goofed around with kevin before he left for meetings/class, finished reading ‘brave new world’ in 3 hours; didn’t particularly like it or care for it, did my ab challenge work out and debated whether to do pilates or rest today, showered, washed the dishes, got ready for the schnerf cheesecake factory dinner, kevin came back with food from the new years dinner the apartment complex was holding, i ate half of the plate with him; the sliders and the cranberry chicken were on point, lolol lynn and kaitlyn were debating whether to try to get food or not from there for the longest time before kevin came back but i’m sure they got some :P, peter commuted to the apartment so that nluu could pick us up in one place, nluu needed an extra hour so i talked with peter while kevin did some work, i also played mini games with peter, nluu picked us up a bit before 7 pm, we got to cheesecake and ordered, i was being shunned for getting a drink when no one else did T__T, i got the tomato basil pasta and kevin got the hibachi steak (my recommendation), i got to talk with mostly everyone and it was a nice dinner, the steak was so good and the pasta was too but i was sooo full from the food kevin brought up, the group split and some people left while others stayed and went to daniel’s, i went to daniel’s and chilled with everyone, nluu drove me there and we got to talk for a bit (i really miss talking to you tbh so i’m happy that i got a chance to!), drank 3 drinks or so with the bae, tom talks in a baby voice sometimes when he’s tipsy and it’s funny/cute LOL, honglin tried braiding three strands of my hair?!, mark took shot after shot o__o, shen came and i wished her a happy birthday, i decided not to go out because i had work, my throat kinda hurt, it will be cold so sore throat + cold + alcohol would make me sick, and kevin went back home and didn’t want to go out, so some of the group went out to mad river, and the others went to shawarma inn (me + peter, nluu, honglin, and esca), the guys ate and we talked; it was nice listening to them talk about their thoughts and what not because i usually listen to them tell stupid jokes and goof around; i’m sure these group of guys will have great lives no matter where they choose to go, they’re pretty much the sweetest, most genuine, and caring guy friends i could ever want (underneath their tomfoolery and jokes), nluu drove peter home and then drove me back to kevin’s, i changed out of my clothes, brushed my teeth, and ko’d, i think it was like 1:30 or 2 am by the time i went to sleep.
