why is jingyi’s hair so short compared to everyone else?? headcanon that he had to do a lot of handstand punishments when he was younger, and his hair would get in his face. and not understanding how important letting your hair grow is, he cut it short in frustration. a lot has grown back but it’s still shorter than other peoples his age

This is a great HC! I admit, I hadn’t noticed his hair was shorter reading subtitles costs me quite a few physical details lol

small and minor headcanon involving Byleth, they got a bottomless stomach and the students struggle to get them out the door so the academy canteen wont run out of food before missions. my evidence? the amount of activity points you get every free day. the amount of points you get per free day is how hard it is for the students to get you out the door

it's a collaborative effort from all houses to stop them, such a nice team bonding activity!

Post-adventure when everyone lives together in a house and have more normal lives Frosty does some reflecting and grieving over what the Psionic Order did to him. Eventually he shocks everyone by walking into the common room and throwing his green robe into the fireplace and calmly watching it burn. He starts wearing red after that.

I come into your queue bringing more angst

When Hootsie got too old to be dependent on Gricko, he decided to let Hootsie out into the wild. All his life he was terrified of this moment but from everything she's survived through, he knew she was strong enough to fend for herself. He really really really didn't want to let her go but he knew this was what she needed, she was still a wild animal after all and couldn't be domesticated. Only tamed. It was the right thing to do.

So he and his friends took Hootsie to the edge of the woods to say goodbye and let her go free. And she left.

Gricko ends up crying over it more than he expected to. He knows he SHOULD be happy for her but he still felt like he was grieving his child. His empty nest syndrome got so bad Frost and Gricko seriously considering adopting a child. And they did! And it turns out they're wonderful Dads.

The seasons pass and in the springtime Hootsie comes back with owlbear cubs to show them their Grandpa Gricko. Gricko is shocked and overjoyed Hootsie came back to visit. Of course he shows Hootsie her younger baby sibling.

Autistic Gricko headcanon:

He's just as sensitive as Frost is when it comes to sensory issues. His just presents differently.

He's extremely sensitive to sound and can't handle certain noises. His hearing is very good and unfortunately that meant sometimes the others can't even hear what sound is bothering him. He fucking hates balloons popping because it always makes him jump and the shock makes him tense up in a way that hurts his neck. (I'm projecting here on this one lol, this is why I can't play games or watch stuff with jump scares it HURTS.) He can get overwhelmed by loud spaces (there's this really good fanfic on AO3 with his headcannon!) and needs to take a few minutes outside to avoid getting overstimulated. But he's also fine listening to loud rock music because it's a controlled environment and he knows he likes these sounds. Also can be self stimulatory.

He hates shoes, he hates alot of fabrics and rather stick to the small cycle of clothes he's used to. He's worn the same three outfits for years and it bothers the hell out of Kremy but Gricko to stubborn with his routine. He'll mend clothes just to keep wearing them because getting new clothes is stressful.

Not a sensory thing but I think he's very attached to his bedtime routine and likes to sleep at the same time every night as much as possible. This is why sometimes he seems stressed over everyone settling down and going to sleep while they were in the feywild.
