Which subtitle fonts do you think looks the best? All of them look similar I know, but they're styled differently from each other. What would your top picks be?

KUROMYU HELP

hello friends i am deseperatly trying to find an english subtitle file for Kuryomyu 2.5 -the most beautiful death in the world (2013 rerun).

I have the raw musical but no subtitles. if someone could help me out as i have been looking for ages. i have all the other shows with  english subtitles i can trade in exchange? (folk can also message just if they want the musicals) Please help cause i really wanna watch the show

Okay I googled and didn’t come up with anything that helps so I’m gonna try my luck with tumblr???

So. I recently came across a really great video that is in Japanese. Since I have aegisub I figured I could create some pretty subtitles in my mother language.

About an hour later, I had my subs. I edited in some color for the main characters -- aka, person 1 speaks and the subs are blue, person 2 speaks and the subs are yellow, etc. -- and corrected the size to match the video as well as the font.

I tested them immediately and they look great when I manually added them into the video!

Now I want to embed them into the video so the subtitles are loaded as soon as I open the video. Like how fansubbed files work. I don’t even care if it’s hard or soft subs and I do have programs to do so, but they throw out my edits except for the size. I don’t see the right font nor the colors.

So my question is, how and with which program can I embed my .ass subtitle file into the .mp4 video without losing the effects?

So I wondered what "Kalos" meant when Apollo mentioned it. At first I was thinking it might be a mispronounced word or that it was an uncommon/esoteric word in Japan.

Upon further investigation, I came across this Wikipedia Entry:

Kalos kagathos (Ancient Greek καλὸς κἀγαθός [kalos kaːɡatʰǒs]),[1] of which kalokagathia (καλοκαγαθία) is the derived noun, is a phrase used byclassical Greek writers to describe an ideal of personal conduct, especially in a military context. Its use is attested since Herodotus and the classical period.[2] The phrase is adjectival, composed of two adjectives, καλός ("beautiful") and ἀγαθός ("good" or "virtuous"), the second of which is combined by crasis with καί "and" to form κἀγαθός. Werner Jaeger summarizes it as ”the chivalrous ideal of the complete human personality, harmonious in mind and body, foursquare in battle and speech, song and action”. [3]

Kalos

The adjective καλός means beautiful and encompasses meanings equivalent to English "good", "noble", and "handsome". The form given by convention is the masculine, but it was equally used of women (the feminine form is καλή) and could also describe animals or inanimate objects.

I am not sure if this is really the "kalos" Apollon was talking about (or maybe HorribleSubs did live up to their name of being... horrible) but if we take this into context, he might've meant to say, "I'm good" (which was kinda used weirdly haha).
