as the harsh words left his mouth, instant regret poured onto him as he sees the tears that started to form in your eyes.

DILUC immediately regretted his words. he started saying apologies to you as he came to hug you but you pushed him away. he dare have the audacity? the tears rapidly flowed down your cheeks as you walked out on him. DILUC felt his heart shatter into a million pieces, he didn’t mean it. he really didn’t, so please, come back.
you had seen CHILDE angry and you had heard him yell, but it was never something that you had expected to fall victim to, especially not today. you have felt fear, but not like this. not where the fear comes from your own boyfriend. CHILDE had immediately relaxed his shoulders after realization had set in when seeing tears beginning to slide down your cheeks.
KAEYA froze (haha get it) when he saw your clearly hurt and offended expression which was accompanied by the tears which had threatened to fall. the tension in the air prevented you from moving, rather, it just left you there to wallow in your tears in front of him. KAEYA found it quite funny how he manages to lose the ones closest to him.
it was rare for ZHONGLI to ever raise his voice let alone at you, his dear beloved. the tone and volume of his words were enough to terify you. the whole area went quiet. out of shock, maybe. ZHONGLI was even shocked at himself. your tears felt warm as the feeling started to catch up with you. you wanted to run away from him, you couldn’t bare to see him, but you stayed frozen in place. both of you were unable to talk as the silence in the air was suffocating. ZHONGLI couldn’t find the words to speak and you were too scared and surprised to speak.
when it gets cold, DILUC will happily open his arms for you. the two of you cuddle up under a blanket and sing christmas carols to each other. he literally got you so much gifts like lord have mercy omg. i imagine that he’d get you two ugly sweaters along with something that you wanted for a while.

christmas is spent gliding and flying around with AMBER happily. the two of you helped around town with whatever anyone needed and got with the KoF for a feast at the headquaters. later on, you helped AMBER pass out candy canes of different flavors to the townspeople of mondstadt.
on the morning of christmas, you woke up to an alchemic surprise. of tons of trial and errors, SUCROSE made you a christmas themed potion. when activated, it creates a christmas tree that has heart ornaments on it.
ALBEDO went flower picking with you. although the frigid temperatures up in dragonspine, there were a few types of flowers that had survived its coldness. ALBEDO found it fascinating and plus, it was a win-win; he was able to continue research while also joyfully picking flowers and spending time with you.
the top of the christmas tree was currently vacant of a star as you tried—keyword right here— to put a star atop of it. suddenly, DAINSLEIF came out of your guys’ shared room to help you. he carried you, being very very very careful as to not drop you. as he did so, he held the hand that had the star and led it to the top, allowing you to place the star there.
you and ROSARIA stayed at your house, drinking and getting drunk on eggnog having silly challenges like “who can drink the most ‘shots’ of eggnog” or “the bunny marshmellow challenge but with eggnog: aka, how much eggnog can you fit in your mouth” all the while christmas songs played the background.
you, FISCHL, BENNETT, and RAZOR all run around mondstadt playing tons of games like tag, freeze tag, hide and seek, tickle monster and at the end of the day, the four of you watch christmas movies and eventually the two of you had a mini dance party to christmas songs.
KLEE and DIONA were hunting down santa claus and dragged you along with them. after 7 hours of searching everyday, always to no avail, you always made hot cocoa for them for their attempts and then watched the church preform christmas carols while eating candy canes.
you came to the church on christmas morning and brought BARBARA a new dress along with a song you had wrote for her. she thought it was absolutely delightful and had complimented you on your voice saying that it was beautiful and begging for you to join them on singing christmas carols. and yes, you did agree.
you two went to diluc’s tavern in mondstadt and drank and sang to your heart’s content. VENTI and you took turns singing silly christmas songs while drunk but it was still cute nonetheless. on the other hand, the wine bill, was not so cute.
NOELLE was up all night on christmas eve’s making handmade gifts for everyone, including you. when you tried to offer your help, she quickly refused to hide the gifts she was making for you. as they say, you can’t peek on your gifts otherwise next christmas, you’ll get a lump of coal.
on christmas, you and MONA went to fresh hunter and you ate out which was a rare occassion but you have been saving up for a while and wanted to treat MONA. at the end of the meal when the two of you were done eating, you paid for it all and gave MONA a bag of mora. she was extremely grateful and refused at first but with some persuasion, she accepted.

the RAIDEN SHOGUN is a stranger to holidays as being inside of her euthymia for all these years. she may have somewhat memories of this ‘christmas’ but she isn’t familiar with it. the RAIDEN SHOGUN allows you to drag her all over town, visiting christmas stores, going to christmas parade, buying seasonal sweets, and watching at least 2 christmas movies
when you asked YAE MIKO if you could help her decorate the shrine to be a little more festive for the upcoming holiday, she couldn’t decline. the two of you were hanging up christmas lights, stars, and wreath’s which were all scattered neatly around the place.
GOROU, KOKOMI, you, and the resistance all had a huge white elephant gift exchange christmas party. there were a ton of activites like archery competitions, whatever the thing was called where you put your hands and feet on certain colors and try not to fall, and other games.
KAZUHA was writing you christmas poems and haiku’s, and you have never felt so loved and charmed before. his sweet and elegant words all put into one beautiful poem was just so undescribable. at the end of each poem, you and KAZUHA would take a shot of sake for the shits and giggles
christmas was well spent with AYAKA. this year was her first ever holiday not working and actually spending time with someone other than thoma; not that she was ungrateful for his company rather that her stomach was not ready for the unbearing amount of potlucks and potluck challenges. you and AYAKA danced to songs and even sang along to some

christmas with THOMA was literally chaos. fun, loving, endearing but still chaotic. you guys were eating his delicious food and doing silly potluck challenges he comes up with on the spot. the two of you played christmas spot the difference games, guessing games, and a variety of board games.
KUJOU SARA of the kujou clan found herself spending time and decorating a christmas tree with handmade, woven ornaments that the two of you had created the night before christmas
SAYU and you were watching movies on the couch, near a fireplace, while drinking hot cocoa. SAYU does eventually fall asleep but it’s okay, after all, christmas is really just spending time with your familiars and having fun one way or another
YOIMIYA was making fireworks all day on christmas eve so that inazuma could have the best fireworks like always. this years package was a candy cane, christmas trees, and stars. afterwards on the day of christmas itself, you and YOIMIYA built little gingerbread houses and displayed them to eventually eat later on
on christmas’ dawn, ZHONGLI prepared a breakfast in bed for you with his gift next to you in his spot on the bed. the two of you spent a lazy day in bed cuddling with each other while watching iconic christmas movies; many of which ZHONGLI has never had the time to see.
HU TAO woke you up on christmas morning to a classic prank, scaring you awake. she mischiviously giggled as she dragged you downstairs to the christmas tree to exchange and open each other’s gifts.
NINGGUANG gave you one of many liyue’s finest jewelries, a perk of dating the tianqian. you felt bad for not getting her as fancy as a gift in comparison to her’s but she reassures you that any gift from you is just as meaningful; expensive or not.
BEIDOU happily took you on a ride on the crux, you took shots with the crew who were overjoyed to have you on board. it’s an honor to meet the person who’s captured their captain BEIDOU’s heart y’know?
our dearly beloved legal advisor, YANFEI, was overloaded with files on christmas but no worries, if she can’t go to christmas, christmas will come to her with the help of you. you sang christmas carols to her as she filled paperwork out, which she greatly enjoyed and gave her matching ugly sweaters to wear along with a red nose cause yk, rudolph the red nosed raindeer.
XIANGLING prepared a hugeeeee feast for the two of you for breakfast and invited your familiars and her father over for dinner. the lot of you had a ton of fun, you guys played games and watched movies. laughter could definitely be heard even from outside the world of tevyat.

as you helped the maids clean the tavern, DILUC pulled you away as the music played in the background. he had a loving yet almost mischievous smile on his face as his fingers locked with yours. you kept your eyes on each other, letting him lead. your feet glided across the floor, in sync with DILUC's. his firey, beautiful, ruby red eyes never left your figure. he admired you and would practically sacrifice everything for you. he loves you so much, and you knew. you loved him ever so dearly too.
