With tears streaming down your face from how terrified you were of dying, you nearly screamed when Ei suddenly lifted up your veil, eyes paralyzed with fear as you met the cold, dark eyes of your wife. When she raised her hand to get closer to your face, you expected a hard slap. However, what came in contact with your cheek was a soft, gentle touch that felt juxtaposing to how large and battle-stricken her hands were.

This is pretty short since any dialogue may get too specific to be actually applicable so I decided short and sweet was the way to go on this one.
My decisions were based on who I love most and also I have been a Yanfei main for many a year now. My team is disgraceful. I've ran Venti, Yanfei (recently alt out for Nari or currently building Freminet), Barbara, and Beidou since literally 2021. It’s chaos but the elemental damage is SOOOOO fun.
ALHAITHAM
He lures you to his old favorite spot in the House of Daena from his years in school, quiet but not too silent, a good window, and conveniently not too far from the shelves that hold the content of your studies. Alhaitham works with you, never speaking first and certainly never leaving first. Thankfully his transcriptions can be taken anywhere and paused at any point, so he is at your whim as a silent buddy to motivate you.
He tangles your ankles together under the table, an anchor to prevent you from drifting off into thought. Alhaitham is also the best sounding board for processing new ideas and themes. His research has been in many areas over the years, so he can follow practically any logistical pattern you’re exploring, either encouraging or redirecting you when needed.
TIGHNARI
Tighnari works training new rangers every day, and if he has to get a wee bit militant on you he definitely will. A small tut of the tongue, a faux disappointed look, a pointed eyebrow raise, or even a snarky comment is guaranteed any time he sees you slacking off between assignments. It comes from a place of pure affection though, he just wants you to be successful in a way that makes you feel good. Academic merit has always been a shaky subject since he’s cut ties with the Akademiya, but he understands you need to pass your classes to truly thrive in the way you want in the future.
He ragebaits hard, but it works. He will purposely ask you stupid questions on whatever subject you’re struggling with to trick you into explaining it out loud to him. You understandably get annoyed that he could be so wrong about something so basic, but upon expanding into the more complex nuances of it all, it’s like you’re unlocking the key to your next steps. He already knew the answer but he’s always been a sly fox.
YANFEI
She logic puzzles you out of any academic rut you may find yourself in (see her good evening voiceline about conning produce vendors for the best deal). Not working on readings because they’re too time consuming? If you skim it now it’ll be better and faster than dreading for hours just to eventually not doing it at all. Equations getting too complicated to fully understand? Yanfei will ask you to explain every single variable and their purpose just to get you to work it out verbally.
In the end though, Yanfei is a free spirited firecracker under the legal jargon. She would not hesitate to tease, bicker, barter, beg, what have you to try to get you to work even a little. Anything in your best interest will always be her priority. After it’s all said and done she’d certainly follow up on any bribes she’d made to get you to do it. Being a lawyer under the god of contracts means she always follows through on a promise, especially with you.
JEAN
Jean is like… the world’s biggest “power through until it’s over and then collapse from exhaustion” queen. Pacing through workloads? Never heard of it. She swears it works for her but HATTEEEEESSS seeing you do it because you get so drained after it all. You might be helping her more than she helps you lowkey.
You know by the end of the day though, you’ll both get to flop into bed and relax together, both finished your exorbitant workloads for the day in your own rights. That may be motivation enough. On any quick break she may muster, or if she just happens to pass by your workstation between errands she drapes herself over your shoulders, pecks a kiss to your cheek, and whispers a quick “good work my dear.”
ALBEDO
Albedo is not immune to the whims of procrastination, even as an artificial being, the human condition does not escape him. He knows the feeling of dread between tasks all too well when the studies are not your subject of choice. If he had any say in the matter he would do it all himself when you weren’t aware just to lift that burden from your shoulders.
The alchemist knows the emotions of a struggle between idea, execution, and outcome. The hesitance to start is a universal feeling, and the upset from an undesired result is even more familiar to him. He’s spent nights over his own bench stressing over his work, and he hates to see the same sadness in your figure. A chair is drawn up beside yours, he asks calmly about where your work deviated from expectation, and proposes new solutions or applications from what you did create. Always warm, always reassuring, and always shoulder to shoulder.
Why is writing tighnari such a fight?????? bleghhhh. He's like my most recurring character besides haitham. He is my fave bc he’s complicated but that also makes it such a challengeeeeeeeee

1. You met him as the darknight hero-who saved you from an attack

- And from there you start talking about anything, really
- Kaeya is another person you'd meet at a bar
- He wouldn't be drunk-just lightly drinking
- You both hit it off and start chatting away
- In the end he covers your tab for the night and however much you drank previously because he liked you that much
- And he might see you home if you live nearby
- You would meet him in Angels Share, annoying Diluc for more wine
- He'd strike up the conversation with you, and Diluc would warn him for disturbing others at his shop
- In the end he'd add an extra hundred mora to his tab (which Diluc still wants him to pay)
Albedo would find you in the depths of Dragonspine, shivering from the cold. He only passed by because he was looking for ingredients for certain alchemy crafts-for Sucrose of course. Being the gentlemen he is, he would carry you to his campsite where you could heat up by the fireplace while he made you food to eat and have a chat over.
It wouldn't be until you're fully healed/warmer until you left his campsite, although Albedo told you to come back anytime to ensure you don't freeze to death again. While you stay in dragonspine, you'll see him a few more times as you stay there again.
If you were a human, Xiao met you out on the battlefield. You didn't even call his name-it was simply his duty to fight these creatures and you happened to be facing one at the moment. All he did was kill the monster and then leave you alone, he only started talking to you after you kept getting in danger to which he told you to call him incase you ever encounter anything.
If you were a god or a friend of Zhongli than he'd meet you at an important dinner. Zhongli would introduce you both to each other and than you'd talk from there.
Tartaglia was your boss from the Fatui. You worked under him, the 12th harbinger in combat. He doesn't pay too much attention to the rookies or people under him-you stood out by being the strongest one who works under him. Only then would he challenge you himself (to which you most likely end up defeated).
Two very different routes based on what time you met him as...
As Kunikuzushi he would meet you along with the other swordsmen, crafting the best swords out of everyone. Kunikuzushi would be a little more shy towards you, he doesn't know what love feels like afterall-his mother did abandon him.
As Scaramouche, similar to Tartaglia, you could train under him. Catching his eye as one of the strongest combat fighters who work under him.
As Wanderer, you would meet in the Akademia. While you both combined for a group research project where you had to travel to the desert. At the beginning he wasn't very thrilled with the idea of it but by the end you became friends.
As a detective, naturally he'd find you while doing a case. This specific case was actually a rescue mission and the target to save was you. Luckily with his skills though he saved you as soon as they got the case. After that, you both would talk more.
You met Lisa as you traveled to Mondstadt for the first time. Specifically when you decided to visit the Library to checkout a book while you stay there. Lisa-being the delighted librarian gladly recommended you some books to read and you ended up going home with at least 12 of them.
You worked at the Jade Chamber. Ganyu had hired you as another assistant for the Lady of the Jade Chamber. So on your first day of work Ganyu introduced you both and since then you worked alongside her ever since.
Hu tao being Hu Tao would have a funny meeting with you. Running up to you with a large grin on her face as she proudly presented you with a buy 1 coffin get the 2nd half off coupon! She proudly explained her parlor and how if anyone was dying soon to buy a funeral casket over by her place.
You met Yanfei because you happened to deal with a few legal troubles and decided to hire a lawyer to close the case. Luckily your lawyer was the best of the best and memorized all the laws of liyue.
With Yelan being mysterious you'd have to cause a lot of trouble to meet her a second time. The first time would most likely be her saving you from the shadows-but you wouldn't see her. It would only be if she saw you a lot then she would reveal herself to be Yelan.
Due to your status you knew all of the Adepti that lives by Liyue. Shenhe being Cloud Retainers apprentice would be no exception. So, you knew her from when she was very young-even when you yourself was a child.
If you meet the Shogun, it would be the moment she decides to take your vision. You were a strong fighter and no one could defeat you until she showed up. Raiden wouldn't just not take it even if you looked pretty. After the Vision Hunt Decree occurred she decided to visit you once again as you were walking down the road.
While running away from the shogun you met other resistance fighters-who eventually led you to meet with her during a meeting. This meeting would be one-on one with your group.
While visiting the Narukami shrine you decide to test your fortune of the day! You spoke with the lady there, took your fortune and decided to take a seat over on a rock nearby. You looked around and opened the slip. There it was, the words "Good Luck" on the fortune. Yae Miko suddenly appeared behind you, wishing you well and how lucky you were to obtain the good luck fortune today.
After the Vision Hunt Decree started, Kazuha travelled with Beidou. You, who was from Liyue and knew Beidou eventually met him while helping Beidou out unloading some supplies. Beidou would introduce you both and help you get to know eachother.
After you passed out in the Sumeru Forest, the forest watchers found you and brought you back to their camp for your saftey. Collei specifically would watch over you while you rest, Tighnari would have to do his duties. When you finally wake up, you first speak with Collei! Citlali wasn’t always closed off, having made friends in the past. But with her long lifespan those relationships just became painful memories that she’d live on with. It was because of those memories that she didn’t want any relationship, romantic or platonic. Ororon was her one exception; and she didn’t even plan on getting so attached to him.
That all changed when she met you, a young man with a heart of gold and the patience of an elder. She never expected to have any relations with you. But against her mind, her heart was unbearably lonely, and she clung to your earnest personality like a lifeline.
After finally giving into her feelings and accepting you as her boyfriend, Citlali became much more outspoken around you. No “Granny Itztli” when it was just the two of you. She read her light novels, drank her alcohol, and relaxed like a true hermit with almost no shame.
Though she felt more like herself than ever before, Citlali still can’t quite handle physical affection from you. The adventurers you did together in search of machines, the quiet moments when you’d both enjoy each other’s presence in silence, and the loud times when the whole gang would get together but your eyes would naturally drift and hold onto one another. And it’s through dating you that she realizes how much of a blessing it was to meet you, even if it came with its own heartbreaks.
Yanfei was always busy, wether it was sorting out a legal dispute or training new legal advisors, she always had to be on her feet. Of course she didn’t mind, in fact she loved it. Solving problems through contracts and helping others get what their owed was one of her happiest moments. There was simply nothing like making the world a better and more honest place.
During one of her clients bemoaning over a fraudulent transaction she bumped in you, her future problem. You were the second best legal advisor from Fontaine, having traveled to Liyue for some extra money and reputation. Your client was the one Yanfei’s had accused of making a deceptive trade.
It was pretty fun for her, going against someone with the knowledge, confidence, and experience like her in the legal field. That doesn’t change the fact you were a pain. Never had she met a man a determined as you. However it was through that determination that you both discovered something: both of your clients were guilty!
After going through the necessary legal process, Yanfei decided to invite you out for dinner. She always found Fontaine law to be more difficult and wanted to learn some more from one of the very best. And that time spent together developed into something more. Where romance blossomed and a dangerous legal duo took Teyvat by storm.
they're so quiet. the only thing you can hear is their soft breath, maintaining a constant rhythm. they generally prefer to bury their head in your shoulder, but they're content just laying next to you. they're so easy to sleep next to. they probably completely shut off while they're asleep?? you will not feel a single thing. no water necessary. no bathroom breaks. they save feeling sick until the morning. in addition, a kiss on the forehead is the last thing you see before you fall asleep and the first when you wake up in the morning. all in all, they're super sweet—maybe, in a way, pretty old-fashioned. i give a 100/10.
SO touchy. literally can't go more than ten seconds not being next to you. probably have a quiet, whispered conversation with you before bed—about anything at all. it's mostly to distract from the fact that they're feeling you up, but they still listen to every word you say. they mumble replies with a teasing voice as their fingers dance up your back, resting at your shoulder. nuzzling their head in your neck while lightly kissing you there. (maybe biting if they're into that...) if you want to get up to get water, they probably make you stay where you are so you stay comfy. they'll do everything for you. you want a massage at 3 in the morning? go ahead, ask. they won't refuse.
LOUD. that's all you really need to know—but you can barely sleep. it's like they don't need it. they'll stay up for hours on their phones, talking about the videos they're watching, what they did—anything at all that they can think of. you'd believe they'll eventually get tired and toss in the towel, but they could pull 10 all-nighters in a row if it meant you'd listen the whole time. other than that, they're usually pretty cuddly. They'll grab onto your arms and scrunch into a ball position, their knees nearly at their chest. They'll probably talk to you like that until they realized you've dozed off. Once they do, they kiss you on the nose and cuddle against you, letting out an unbelievably loud sigh. almost comically so. (it might wake you up and you'd have to fall asleep all over again...)

sarcastic and mean. can you even get more mean than these guys?? they (lovingly) insult and tease you before dragging you into the bed, tightly holding you against them. they'll most likely hold the back of your head by tangling their fingers in your hair, keeping you steady against their chest. to hear their breathing. they might give you a kiss on the forehead if you get lucky. if you decide to tease them by refusing this kiss, they'll probably spread their limbs across the bed to make sure you've got no room, and that you'll have to climb on top of them to be able to lay down comfortably. that's better than a kiss, in their opinion. you're wide open for sarcasm, teasing, and letting them be the meanies they are.
