- while isuzu’s been aware that she’s a lesbian since pretty much forever, gou had a lot more trouble figuring out her own identity. she thinks she’s just a Really Good Ally because she still likes looking at boys

- after they become friends in the late summer of their third year, isuzu develops a raging crush on gou but keeps quiet about it other than some vague flirting. gou actually feels similarly, but thinks that she just really likes being friends with isuzu. she talks about isuzu to chigusa all. the. time.

- finally, chigusa brings up that gou probably, definitely has a crush on isuzu. this kind of sends gou into a identity crisis, and she still hasn’t figured it out completely by the time she and isuzu hang out again

- isuzu flirts with her like always, not expecting any sort of reciprocation, when gou turns to her and says “go out with me.” isuzu.exe stops working, but gou also starts freaking out, because she didn’t even know she liked girls until like a week ago and she didn’t really think this through and oh god the other person needs to like you back in order to go on a date does isuzu even like her like that 

- gou kind of starts panicking like “you don’t have to!! i totally understand if you don’t want to!!!” and she’s still kind of rambling when isuzu’s brain turns back on and she cuts gou off with “you really have feelings for me?”

- gou’s entire face goes red as she looks away and mumbles “yeah.” when it dawns on isuzu that it isnt a joke and the girl of her dreams really does like her, she draws gou into the tightest hug. gou’s totally bewildered until isuzu pulls back and goes “i’d love to go out with you”

- like nagisa, gou is very sensitive to cold temperatures. luckily, isuzu’s hoodies are Just oversized enough for her, and isuzu herself is basically a furnace

- gou doesn’t normally play action-y video games, but she’s surprisingly good at smash - better than isuzu, even. isuzu brags about her to all of her gamer friends ofc. other than that, gou is more than willing to help isuzu out as a player 2 for difficult quests

- gou’s taken a liking to games like animal crossing and minecraft, thanks to isuzu. she’ll almost exclusively focus on decorating, which ends up working out because isuzu gets to focus on completing the missions

- they have a stardew valley server with ayumu and chigusa, and the four play together when school is out of session. gou and chigusa work on interior decorating and farming, ayumu fishes and takes care of the animals, and isuzu forages and mines

- like her brother, isuzu ends up going to hidaka university to study nutrition, though she plans on going pro for swimming. gou goes to meijo chuo university (makoto’s school!) to study law (though she bounced around with the idea of doing business or management)

- though they go to different schools, the campuses aren’t too far apart, and they move in together starting their first year of university

- they always try new recipes together and love experimenting with unknown spices and foreign vegetables

- ( @sagesprouts gets credit for this once again ;0 ) isuzu actually proposes the moment she realizes she wants to marry gou, about a year into their relationship. they end up being engaged for years before even starting to plan the wedding, because it was totally unplanned and they just sort of ran with it

- too occupied with their jobs and their friend’s kids, isuzu and gou decide to just stick with pets for a while. once they get a little older, they decide they’re ready to adopt a teenager, and needless to say they are some of the coolest moms around

hey thank you so much for making a fic abt dan being nb without using like versions of dan/dani bc that's so rare in fics and i also appreciate dan being nb in the first place in this fic bc again that's also rare in fics !! keep up the good work !! v excited for more of the fic

AHHHHH thank you!! so my thinking was that my dan would want to go by something that wasn't Hashtag Gendered or their actual name when in online spaces, for reasons i'll get into in-text!! also, as they get to know each other, i'll be transitioning into using dan later in the story - just in case anyone is put off by me using winnie, it's not going to be forever!

I genuinely don’t know what to answer for this because i never write feel confident with prose that I write. Lol so I’m not sure if I have anything to share for this at the moment. So here is a snippet of some original writing I’ve done lol

20) Describe your perfect writing conditions.

My perfect writing conditions is just being able to be alone, on my laptop, with no saying anything to me or talking to me. It’s great to be able to just sit down at a desk with music playing, just writing where no one even says anything to you.
