I made 3 different versions because this is a character from an amazing comic called Always Human by @walkingnorth (free to read on Webtoons!) Sunati lives in a world where you can change your appearance with just a click, so throughout the story we see different versions of her.

I wanted to do something for Always Human’s Print Release and it awakened my self love for Acethexis and my poor neglected babies, so I figured, why not kill two birds with one stone?

I can’t even begin to express my love for Ari (@walkingnorth) and for Always Human, or how impactful both have been in my life and creative world, but these should be a good start!

I just got Always Human a webtoons comic gone graphic novel by Ari North @walkingnorth . I wanted to support this so much because of how much I loved reading this as a lesbian and a "disabled" person. I have lupus which in alot of odd ways would probably present very similarly to Egan's Syndrome in the story.

It's rare to find a story with a main who is sick and stays that way, who doesn't get a magical cure or prosthetics that simply get covered by clothing and magically work like normal. When that happens it takes me out of it, the real struggle is gone and I no longer relate. It's probably the same for others who have a hard time finding representation in media exspecily when the disabled are still often the root of a joke.

I wanna thank Ari North from the bottom of my heart, you'll never know how much this story revitalized my hope and interest in webcomics, graphic novels and my own will to make one of my own. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience.
