okay hear me out, ive always been a sungjoy shipper like literally since the very start of wgm and they were one of the few couples that i really enjoyed watching on the show because they seemed so genuine and their chemistry was like no other. earlier this year i binge watched a bunch of their videos again (and like this one yt channel called 오분sthsth kept reposting their parts in wgm and it seemed like a bunch of other netizens haven’t been able to let them go either) but ive stopped for the past 3-4 months or so and yesterday i came across a video of them and started rewatching again but omg just saw joy + crush’s dating news >.< like whaaaaaa and don’t get me wrong, love mah gurl joy love crush as well but this was just so unexpected and sudden. feeling kinda disappointed tbh, had so much hope in bbyu couple, honestly thought joy was waiting for sungjae to come back from the military but the ones she’s waiting to comeback from the military is actually crush~ i mean i guess this all seems so sudden to me coz i was literally watching bbyu buy pearl bracelets in hainan 10mins before i saw the dating news but to them, the show has ended for over 5 years now i think so it’s natural that they’ve moved on. anyways, still rlly happy for my girl, everyone else seems to b accepting this news rlly well so that’s good, netizens are finally slowly accepting that their idols are humans have feelings and have the right to date too. if parksooyoung is happy, im happy i guess loll wishing both joy + crush all the best 💚
