i feel like i should mention that in hsr, himeko in the astral express has a fucking SAWBLADE AND ORBITAL CANNON as a weapon.

how would the cannon get into devildom? who knows but man would it be funny

as soon as the astral express lands, ik runs up and greets her family - and while she's busy getting tearfully hugged by march, himeko walks straight up to the nervously watching demons and prepares to obliterate them

iirc trailblazer just picks up a bat and then they use that as a weapon... maybe ik makes friends with herta and she decides to give her a gift, and it basically looks like a giant space saw trap with a handle (which would make ik being a support path very funny because she just uses that lasery-bladey contraption to buff her teammates)

okay a bit of spoiler for hsr but i feel like ik would be such a darling to dan heng with all his problems

like she gives him space but also subtly help him in the data bank and he feels so warm with our little ik. like thank you for having a braincell (most of the time) :)))))))))))

also ik does not hold back on blade, dont you dare hurt him >:(

dan heng is "i've only had ik for a day but if anything happened to her-" and ik is "EXCUSE ME! he asked for no pickles", and they also take it in turns being "don't talk to me or my son ever again" for each other

most of the time they're very sweet but sometimes they will both look at you with extreme Scorn and it's like getting your insides frozen in real-time (ik picked up the glare from stelle, but the silent disdain was alll from dan heng baby)

i'm not 100% clear on what the heck's going on with his backstory, but what i DO know is that ik would quietly sit next to him late at night on the astral express and keep him company until he feels at peace, because that is what ik does best

i feel like nahida and leona would get along well.

like, they were both shunned by their own respective countries/society, overshadowed by their predecessors (leona being his elder brother, nahida being greater lord rukkhadevata), and the both of them were being replaced by someone else to take on their roles.

(ok leona's a bit of stretch because cheka is not 'replacing him',, but he was sorta in a way,, if you squint.

as for nahida,, *looks at scaramouche* i dont need to explain)

all in all,

similar experiences = get along well :)

nahida would do her best to comfort leona and his hatred for his position as the younger brother, since it sorta impossible for nahida to hate her predecessor and all shes done for sumeru. also i like the idea of nahida trying to find a way to make him become king,,, just a sweet supportive 500 year old god of wisdom trying to help her friend

also i 100% believe that leona would try to make nahida get mad at the sages for all they've done to her. he'd be like 'GIRL GET MAD AT THOSE @SSHOLES, I DONT CARE IF YOU'RE 500 YEARS OLD, THAT MAKE IT EVEN WORSE'

their conversations would be like:

Leona : nahida, you need to throw hands,,, those wannabe sages treated you like sh*t

nahida : but they're right, im not fit to be an archon :(

leona :

Crewel watching Yuu just dump the ingredients in Alchemy class without using any measurements whatsoever,,, AND IT STILL TURNS OUT PERFECT. Crewel doesn't whether to be impressed or disappointed.

Ace tried this once and blew up the lab in 5 seconds.

- He would be flustered at first, he hasn’t had affection in a while. Bonus points if you snuggle into his back. But afterwards  he would definitely give you a pat or two on the head. (I AM SOFT FOR THIS MAN-)

- This man wouldn’t be flustered at all. He would just get more smug. He would probably grab your hand, turn you around, and then dip you like in those cliché movie scenes. Now you’re the one flustered.

- He would be confused at first. The dude has absolutely NO EXPERIENCE in romance. It’s a miracle how you two got together. When you finally explain it to him, he gets a very faint but noticeable blush on his cheeks and hugs you back.

- He would just chuckle and then pull you into a proper hug. He would probably summon a gentle breeze to comb through your hair softly. Ugh I’m soft fr this man-

okay to the anon who suggested velik and ik thank you sm

okay but before the brothers knew about velik they thought ik had balls of steel, like i know the velik had to insult lucifer at least once before ik made a pact

velik will have called lucifer a bitch at least five times within a fortnight, and the only reason lucifer hasn't retaliated with force by now is because of the whiplash of the "this is a nice polite child" -> "awful insolent little creature" and vice versa transformations

finding out about velik makes the moments when ik gets genuinely pissed off kind of scary, though, because she's already chill in personality, and has to maintain some sense of serenity in order to counteract her stigmata - so then when ik's brand of anger-induced scorn kicks in, it's very unsettling
